Have recently found a really entertaining blog to read. Its owner is a Singaporean teenage girl who just migrated to Australia last year. Perhaps it’ll help me improve on LA’s identity topic. I wish.

For your information I am blogging in perfect English (I hope) with no sms-language, smileys or whatsoever.

I think it’s because of this that I’m attracted to non-Singaporean blogs. As much as I like to read my classmates’ blogs (which are very irritatingly not updated often) that I can relate to, posts from Singapore teenage migrants are much more interesting. They make me feel envious too, but it’s not as if I would want to migrate (for the time being, heh.)

Back to language of blogging. Many a times I have restricted (notice choice of word) myself into blogging essay-style. However, it doesn’t usually last and after a week or so, I will tend to switch back to my ‘haha’s and ‘lol’s. It’s not exactly bad really, because it’s how we Singaporean teens have been taught to express ourselves. Sometimes I feel unable to bring out my true feelings without smileys. It might sound ridiculous but still.

Just for the record I will put a smiley now: (: hee.

P.S. Here’s a style-imitation. To my beloved (yes you are very much loved) readers, would you much rather me talk about similar topics like the above, or some daily rantings (with photos) which you can’t understand?

More truthful reasons for this random and nonsensical post:

  • I’m just doing this just to divert myself from blogging from something which I can’t post about or will get in big trouble, really. Oh wells.
  • All my image servers have crashed. Therefore I can’t post pictures and I might as well entertain you by being weird, hehe
