I can’t remember the exact name of this Essie color. I was going for a super pale yellow hue here. Didn’t quite work out. Nice simple color though.

Essie Wicked is my go to/signature color when I’m feeling a little indecisive. It’s the perfect dark nail polish!!!

I am training a new hire at work so I’ve been doing a lot of pointing (pc monitor and paper). I catch a glimpse of my nails and I cringe. A little too bubble gum pink for me. I thought I’d give pink a shot. This just isn’t me. Essie’s Card Again. Will have to find another pink. The color from the bottle was a little deceiving. I was going for a mauve hue not screaming pink!

Thought I’d let my nails breathe from dark nail polish. I have gone to the light! Here’s Essie Real Simple. The color really is simple. I like! Ang bait bait tingnan.

My very good friend NL caught my mani/pedi bug. I took her with me to nail salons in Manila last December and she is hooked!! She recently sent me 3 bottles of dark nail polish. I tried The Face Shop’s BL604 first! It’s a deep blue with a hint of shimmer.

I said I’d do brown next so I did. I give you Essie Lady Godiva. I really need to learn how to take better pictures or maybe buy my own digital camera.

I felt like going purple this time. I picked out Opi Lincoln Park After Dark. The site describes it as “where midnight meets purple”. I should learn to take clearer pictures. I plan on doing browns next.

I love getting my nails done. I treat myself to a manicure maybe twice a month. I like them short and dark. This is why I don’t go every week. You have to let them breathe in between. Your nails tend to yellow from dark polish. I’ll be sharing my nail color choices under the nail polish category.

I decided to do black again today. Opi Black Onyx. I’m not sure if the picture does the color justice. Two to three coats is needed to achieve a good shade. Try it out!

It’s officially the first day of Spring. Should I switch to lighter colors? Hmmm… I do like my dark colored nails.
