My kind of outfit. I find that I’m most comfortable in relaxed and basic articles of clothing. Nothing beats your trusty Lacoste pique polo!

Layering once again.

I still have more cooler weather outfits to post. Here’s three in one shot. One cashmere cardigan, three ways.

I’m currently on spring break but it sure doesn’t feel like it. I am swamped with projects that are all due in April. I’m not complaining though. I do miss having a full time job once in awhile but being in school again is soooo much fun. The weather’s been weird lately. It’s officially Spring but it’s been cold. Effects of global warming perhaps? I can’t wait to wear open shoes!! I’ve been in boots since October!
Here’s an outfit I wore one rainy day to school. I want Spring-like weather now!!!

I haven’t been good keeping up with this blog. You see, I’ve gone back to school. This time, for something that I’ve always enjoyed. Fashion!!! It’s getting hectic with assignments, tests and projects but I am having a great time. I am loving every minute of it. I am meeting people who are just as passionate about it and it’s quite encouraging. It’s just falling into place. I am pursuing this not because I consider myself a ‘fashionista’ but because I love, love the science behind the industry. The forecasting, planning, sourcing, buying, allocation, advertising etc… etc… Working in the industry the past three - four years has made me hungry for more!!!My outfit posts are more of a personal closet inventory than anything. I’m quite simple when it comes to dressing myself. Anyways, here’s to actively pursuing what makes your heart beat fast. Cheers!!!
I leave you with Outfit#64.

“Play”ering with weekend clothes.

Don’t you think the black/white diamond pattern makes this sweater more interesting?

Layering a sweater vest over a shirt dress.
