The material of this dress was really flimsy and sheer. I wore a slip underneath. I have a feeling this dress won’t survive more than 3 washes. My friend bought this on my behalf online back in the PI. I had no way of knowing that it was poorly made. Looks/falls nice though. This is precisely why I prefer shopping “in person”. You’ve got to see it to believe it you know?

It’s tough finding maxi dresses that fit petite women. This isn’t a “maxi dress” as the hem isn’t to the floor. I bought it anyway. What the heck!? It was inexpensive and fit me well enough. I wore it with my colorful huaraches.

I like pink and grey together. Foolproof.

I am training a new hire at work so I’ve been doing a lot of pointing (pc monitor and paper). I catch a glimpse of my nails and I cringe. A little too bubble gum pink for me. I thought I’d give pink a shot. This just isn’t me. Essie’s Card Again. Will have to find another pink. The color from the bottle was a little deceiving. I was going for a mauve hue not screaming pink!

This shirt dress from H&M is inspired by a man’s dress shirt. It’s light blue with fine white pinstripes. The 3/4 sleeves bother me though. I’m always scrunching them up or pulling them down. I’m not a fan of 3/4 sleeves but this shirt dress was too cute (everywhere else) to pass up.
