Kubiertos

I remember my Lola would use the Spanish term ‘kubiertos’ for utensils back then. I still have my Hello Kitty set from elementary school. They’re at least 15 years old. You can see that the HK print is peeling off from age. I lost the chopsticks that came with it. The plastic case is broken too. I made sure to take them with me when I moved to the US.

    I also had hello kitty kubiertos when i was around 7… too bad mine had been missing since i don’t know. I envy that you somehow managed to bring it along with you there.

    Nyaaah, this post is taking me back to the time when our driver and my yaya (yeehee! :p) would come to my school at lunchtime to bring me food… Had same-looking utensils but I’m not sure if they were HK…
