My pasalubong from my brother’s family’s trip to Japan.  I specifically asked for cellphone charms and a compact mirror. YAY!!!

They got me this printed tee from Uniqlo. Notice that the print is the silhouette of Astroboy’s head. I loved the cartoons as a kid. I know I have a cellphone charm of him somewhere.

I’m a certified sleepy head. At the good age of 26, I still need at least 8 to 10 hours to function properly the next day. I can fit into the largest kids’ size if I wanted too. I just might…

I remember my Lola would use the Spanish term ‘kubiertos’ for utensils back then. I still have my Hello Kitty set from elementary school. They’re at least 15 years old. You can see that the HK print is peeling off from age. I lost the chopsticks that came with it. The plastic case is broken too. I made sure to take them with me when I moved to the US.

They still sell them. I found these!!

I felt like going purple this time. I picked out Opi Lincoln Park After Dark. The site describes it as “where midnight meets purple”. I should learn to take clearer pictures. I plan on doing browns next.

The pictures I post aren’t necessarily recent. This is from October ‘07. I call this my Liberty dress after the Statue of Liberty. The draping reminds me of her robe. Favorite detail: the hidden pockets.

I wore this to work once and my coworkers said I had the gothic vibe going on. Must have been the wide cuff and dark nail polish.

I own three pairs of sneakers as of today. Puma, Adidas and Converse. My last pair of Nikes was the Prestos (which I wore to death). Boy I miss those. I must say though that I’m partial to my beat up pink/green wave chuck taylors. To me, Chucks are hands down the best sneakers ever put out in the market. What’s your favorite pair?

I tried surfing once in La Union back during my university days. So yeah, I got wiped out and ended up with an ugly bump in the middle of my forehead.  It was LOADS of FUN though. I would try it out again in spite of that. Maybe next time, I’ll tote along this Hello Kitty towel with me and have better luck!
