On May 18, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, appointed Sanrio’s icon, Hello Kitty, as its 11th Goodwill Ambassador! She is the first cartoon character to be Japan’s goodwill ambassador!The promotion was part of their “Visit Japan Campaign”, aimed to attract tourists. We extend our thanks to Hello Kitty in advance for introducing us to Japan. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have more Hello Kitty elements in your trip to Japan?
