We went to Narita (then Hokkaido) by a JAL flight at 10:35am. As we went there with kids, we had the privilege to go through the immigration quicker. We even met Antony Leung and his family (and two maids too). We then did the domestic terminal check-in at 3:30pm, and went to Chitose at 6:40pm. The flight was delayed because there were too many flights. We went to Sapporo by JR at 9:15pm. It was already 10:00pm when we reached Gracery Hotel Sapporo. My eldest kid was with me by then so we didn’t visit the Noodle Street. We went to Lawson and bought some food instead. I didn’t see any snow in Sapporo and I really felt disappointed.
A small accident happened – my AIGLE Gore-tex shoes got broken! The next day, I went to Tomamu Resort. My sister brought an extra pair of shoes with her so she lent it to me! They even bought me another pair of fur boots in Sapporo the other day.

JAL flight-shaped telescope. We sat at the upper deck.

I was supposed to meet my dad at Thomasland, but he didn’t show up. I just shopped instead.

My kid slept while I shopped!

We are heading to Mount Fuji!
We had nice breakfast buffet at hotel but daddy really wanted to try how Natrium bean tastes like! However, he couldn’t swallow it as he thinks the taste is so bad!
(Actually I have told you already, you just didn’t believe me.)
We are now on the way to Hakone but we just stop by and go to the toilet. Daddy bought us some Chinese pork bread and it tastes very nice! The kid chose a bottle of green tea but he thought it is juice. So…I have to finish the drink for him!

The cherry blossoms came a bit early this year, so I thought we have no chance to see cherry blossoms in this trip! But luckily, there are still some in the Peace Memory Park.

From Kitty:Hello! We have read all of the posts of Mr. Cute! It’s time to travel Tokyo with the Damon’s family!
I got up at 5 and left home at 6:15 in the morning. We arrived at the aiport before 7 a.m. so we waited for half an hour! The tour guide said a lot of instructions and we went to buy some masks for safty reasons! (Of course we didn’t use any of them in the trip!)

We then had breakfast. Some of the travelers were late, so it took 35 minutes to board! We rushed to Gate 61 and didn’t have time go walk around!

This post will show what I bought in Japan. It seems a bit too much.
Actually it is more or less the same as my trip in 2005.

I like the banana cake (Tokyo). We needed to queue and buy it. The one at the right hand said is chocolate, I bought it at Sapporo.

It is the last two day of my trip (day 13 & 14) and of course I’m now in Tokyo doing some shopping! We often stay in Harajuku and actually it is a place that has a lot of nice things to see. It has the only one Head Porter store in Japan, Burberry’s Blue Label & Black Labe, and Agnes b.
You must know Yamanote line of JR. Below is its station and its train is green.

We also visited Sanrio store and bought some new products. But we found it in Hong Kong later.

In 2005 I visited Hokkaido once and I missed it so much thereafter. I’d like to visit Furano in summer, but I’ve already spent too much! After two years, I thought maybe it’s time! So, let’s visit Japan for another 14 days! Why not?
I took a domestic flight to fly from Tokyo to Sapporo instead of by train. I didn’t bring my Sony V1 camera, but my new Nikon D70s Kit set + Sigma 20-300 instead!
It was late July and I was going to Hokkaido South during this summer time!
Day 1 was for transport only and in day 2, I visited Sapporo!
(1) Sapporo JR Station

(2) Odori Park

(3) The wonderful Beer Festival!

Price of Yen is so high that I don’t think I will do a lot of shopping this time. Yet, January is the month of sales - this gives me some expectation!
Years ago I went shopping in Japan with Karen, she said, "Don’t think too much, simply put all of the merchandises in the shopping bag and decide it later!" This is classic. And finally I chose too much and had to put some back…you know they were 50%-70%off!
But this is not the case today. I can’t see many good products here, even in "Comme Ca Ism". Maybe it is because of the bad economic environment? Anyway I simply bought some clothes for Adrian.
I have to recommend "Lalaport" shopping center to you all - It is as big as three Festival Walk’s! Actually you need one whole day to visit the shopping center and for window shopping you use half day already! There are lots of fashionable items and I bought something for Adrian to wear!

Adrian seldom faces the camera with a smile! Although we didn’t visit Disney Sea, it is still good that Adrian is happy in Disney store. He faces the camera with smile and it is a pleasant surprise!

As Grandpa likes car very much, papa brought us to Toyota city showcase in the trip. By the way, if you want to try and drive the cars there, you must have an international license, and it’s best that you book online before you come. We waited for two hours to try the car, but it would be much longer if we didn’t book online! Anyway we just walked around before our turn to drive. Near Toyota city showcase it is the Venus Fort that mommy and grandma like a lot! Actually there are quite a lot of good places in Odaiba such as Rainbow Bridge and Little Hong Kong, but we didn’t have enough time to visit them all!
I remember that I visited Odaiba with my friend long time ago, and at that time we took more time to get to there. But now, it takes only 30 minutes by train!
What a large and windy area!
Grandpa, papa and Adrian–>Three car-lovers!
