I’ve been Furano two days ago for visiting the wine factory and Farm Tomita, and today, I’m heading to that farm again! Let’s see if I will discover some more good stuffs!

At that night we booked Lavender Express again, this line only rides in summer between Sapporo and Furano, you should try it!

Though I got a driver license, I seldom drive. I didn’t think I should rent a car in Hokkaido, yet, I found that I was wrong as places we want to visit in Biei and Furano are not close to each others!

Yes! It is the seventh day of my trip, and I’m heading to Furano! Again, it is raining and I can’t take photos of the beautiful flowers with the blue sky!

I walk outside the farm and found a cable car (for one passenger only) that rides visitor to higher places to see the scenery. Nice.

In 2005 I visited Hokkaido once and I missed it so much thereafter. I’d like to visit Furano in summer, but I’ve already spent too much! After two years, I thought maybe it’s time! So, let’s visit Japan for another 14 days! Why not?

I took a domestic flight to fly from Tokyo to Sapporo instead of by train. I  didn’t bring my Sony V1 camera, but my new Nikon D70s Kit set + Sigma 20-300 instead!

It was late July and I was going to Hokkaido South during this summer time!

Day 1 was for transport only and in day 2, I visited Sapporo!

(1) Sapporo JR Station

(2) Odori Park

(3) The wonderful Beer Festival!

In the morning we go to get the rental car in another company, the payment is ¥7980 for two days. And the first stop today is actually the melon store we visited yesterday. We bought three juicy and sweet melons, ¥3600 in total.

This car has a different GPS and on the way to Furano, it leads us to a rocky road and we don’t see anyone around. Now it is turning dark and raining - scary. We even see a fox on the way. After 20 minutes we arrive in the city.

I thought I have set the alarm, but it is 8am when I get up! Therefore I quickly go to the hotel’s restaurant to have breakfast and after that - get the car!

*We stay in Chisun Inn for the first two nights and we live in room346, but when we arrive 3/F, we see the signs writing "301-345 turn left and 347 - 3xx turn right" - so where is our 346????? I wanted to ask the receptionist, but luckily we found 346 after we tried to turn right.

Ken said, "so weird?!?!"

I said, "……" (sweating)

This is how I feel after I entered the room:I think I will never pick this hotel again.

Our first stop - Jyogai Market which is close to Sapporo.

Cute fence!

See the small car at the right hand side carrying several children? Interesting!
