December 19

Spa House has a Wave Pool, Open Air-bath (swim suit is not allowed), Kids Pool and Jet Spa Cottage. You need to pay an entrance fee to enter the Spa House (with Open-Air Bath), or you can pay a lesser amount and just enjoy the Open Air-bath only (this is what most of the Japanese people do). After that, we went to Nininpuri by shuttle bus to have eat. The buffet was ok - the Hokkaido potatoes and corns are the best!  In the past, it was the “Seafood Market” that provided better buffet! After that, my son was tired so we went back to the hotel. The resort will have the brand new Ice Village on December 23rd!

December 18

We went to Narita (then Hokkaido) by a JAL flight at 10:35am. As we went there with kids, we had the privilege to go through the immigration quicker. We even met Antony Leung and his family (and two maids too). We then did the domestic terminal check-in at 3:30pm, and went to Chitose at 6:40pm. The flight was delayed because there were too many flights. We went to Sapporo by JR at 9:15pm. It was already 10:00pm when we reached Gracery Hotel Sapporo. My eldest kid was with me by then so we didn’t visit the Noodle Street.  We went to Lawson and bought some food instead. I didn’t see any snow in Sapporo and I really felt disappointed.

A small accident happened – my AIGLE Gore-tex shoes got broken! The next day, I went to Tomamu Resort. My sister brought an extra pair of shoes with her so she lent it to me! They even bought me another pair of fur boots in Sapporo the other day.

JAL flight-shaped telescope. We sat at the upper deck.

Once we arrived, we had a barbecue lunch at the park.

To save some time, I went to Thomasland with my kid, while Daddy went to ride the roller coaster by himself. We decided to meet up after two hours.

We are heading to Mount Fuji!

We had nice breakfast buffet at hotel but daddy really wanted to try how Natrium bean tastes like! However, he couldn’t swallow it as he thinks the taste is so bad!

(Actually I have told you already, you just didn’t believe me.)

We are now on the way to Hakone but we just stop by and go to the toilet. Daddy bought us some Chinese pork bread and it tastes very nice! The kid chose a bottle of green tea but he thought it is juice. So…I have to finish the drink for him!

The cherry blossoms came a bit early this year, so I thought we have no chance to see cherry blossoms in this trip! But luckily, there are still some in the Peace Memory Park.

From Kitty:Hello! We have read all of the posts of Mr. Cute! It’s time to travel Tokyo with the Damon’s family!

I got up at 5 and left home at 6:15 in the morning. We arrived at the aiport before 7 a.m. so we waited for half an hour! The tour guide said a lot of instructions and we went to buy some masks for safty reasons! (Of course we didn’t use any of them in the trip!)

We then had breakfast.  Some of the travelers were late, so it took 35 minutes to board! We rushed to Gate 61 and didn’t have time go walk around!

I don’t really like the restaurants and food in Okinawa. The noodles are thick and it is hard to find sushi! Also, it is hard to find a smoke-free restaurant on the International Street!

Aside from the International Street, two places in Okinawa are also worth visiting. The first one is Omoromachi, where you may go by tram. I focused on shopping so I didn’t take any photos.

You will see lots of famous brands once you get off the tram. After that, you’ll see San-A Naha Main Place. This is a large shopping mall with fashionable items for clothing and living. What’s more, you’ll find restaurants, theaters, famous cafes, etc. There are more than 70 stores.

We’re not allowed to take photos here, but I took one - Sanrio Gift Gate.

I seldom buy this in Hong Kong, but in Japan, that is not the case.

We visited the Pineapple Park! You may ride the pineapple shuttle here, see lots of tropical plants and see the production of and drink pineapple wine.  However, the best thing you can do here is eat lots of fresh pineapples! In the shops, you may also find pineapple desserts and curry!

This is the entrance.

We rode the shuttle to see the park.  We are not allowed to take any photos but I secretly took one…

After that, it’s shopping time! There are lots of merchandises and we bought some.

It’s really bad to travel under the rain. In this trip, it has been raining for one and a half day so I just slept in the afternoon then visited Okashi Goten and Okinawa Ryukyu Village the next day.

Okashi Goten is actually famous for okashi (a type of desert), and it uses only the finest red sweet potato (to make “red sweet potato Taryto) that can be found in Okinawa. It also sells the popular Chinsuko (another type of desert). Later on, I found that it has a shop in the International Street in Hana that offers more products.

It has a cafe on the first floor – you may enjoy the sea view while eating desserts at the same time. Unfortunately we were too early to arrive as the shop is not open yet!
