December 23rd

We had to choose Thomasland over Disneyland during Japan’s public holiday because Disneyland must be very crowded that day. I asked my son in the morning about the situation and agreed to go to Thomasland. Fine! Let’s go to Thomasland then. We departed from Shinjuku at 10:30a.m. by JR, it took 2 hours to get to Thomasland. We bought a kid’s pass for my son, it costed 2,500 Yen only, and I had registered myself on the internet to buy a ticket.

We went inside the train and it departed in 2 minutes after.

Only a few passengers there…

A private room in the train…we just came inside it to take a few photos.

Pay 100Yen more and you will get seats with a larger view

Arrived!

This ride was not so scary

We sat in the driver’s seat (100Yen for a ride) and we got a Thomas card. There were only us so we can move from one train to another whenever we wanted.

My son loves driving!

It was cool with music and drums!
