Mr. Cute Blog

I brought my notebook with me (I did it too in the last two times I traveled Japan) as it is more convenient for me to share my photos with my family members. Actually I have a portable device to save my photos, but I feel securer to keep an extra copy.

Besides, it’s good to communicate with other people via MSN, as I can do it at night in the hotel room. Some hotel’s broadband service allows customers to have video & audio conference, but some is voice only. It does save some fee for long distance calls!

Because of this, my wife chats with other people via MSN every night, and one of her friends said that she likes the Hello Kitty mug we bought in Otaru two days ago. Therefore, we go to buy it in the next morning! After that I rush to the train and I am soooo tired! Fortunately I’ve got a seat after a while.

We are going to Asahikawa in the afternoon. We arrive at the zoo at 2pm. We have to hurry up!

(1), (2) Insert coins and it will walk, not sure if adult can have a ride too?

(3) This is really a zoo - lots of animals around!

(4) Penguins are very popular in this zoo. They only go outdoors in winter!

(5) It looks nice!

(6) What are they doing there?

(7) Oh I see. They are looking at the fierce polar bear.

(8) It’s cute!

(9) It is the East Gate.

(10) What a cute sign.

(11) Below is the introduction of the marine animals - interesting!

(12) I am so excited to first experience a Japanese festival!

(13) - (16)  Firework - We walk to the beach to see it and we feel really close to it! It is a small firework show, but it is better than the one in Hong Kong.

(17) Howl’s Moving Castle

(18) The station

I didn’t have enough time to take lots of photos, but the festival and firework show are really unforgettable.

By the way, there is a specially decorated train that rides from Sapporo to Asahikawa. I didn’t have a ride because its seats are fully booked. Anyway, the other trains come more frequently, so I chose the normal one. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to see the fantastic firework.

This is a leaflet of the zoo.

One Response to “Travel Japan(3)!”

  1. Cool fireworks! The zoo pics are also great, but the best is the Howl’s Moving Castle replica. Thanks for sharing!
