Mother of Adrian’s friend To To told us that Ueno Zoo is a good place to visit, and I also read about this place in the travel book. So, let’s visit it in day 2!
Weather is fine today, and there are a lot of animals that Adrian haven’t seen before. The number of animals here is greater than Ocean Park’s, and staffs often introduce the animals to us. Of course we don’t understand Japanese, but it is good to see the staffs feeding the animals!
In order to have enough time to see the animals, we come here early in the morning. You can see 4 to 6 species of bear, 2 species of penguin, lions, tigers and elephants here. The zoo is divided into 2 parts, one of them has lions, tigers and elephants, another one’s got sheep and rabbits. We are not allowed to feed them, but it is good experience for kids to touch them.
We even see monkeys, birds, bats, orangutans and more here!
They are my orangutans!
There is a park outside the zoo, and it is a good place to see sakura.
Now we are going to see the sheep, turkeys and rabbits. Adrian has lots of fun here and he keeps touching the sheep! Actually Adrian doesn’t like taking pictures, but when he sees the sheep he just wants to take lots of pictures with them. He even smiles in the pictures!
Adrian likes being the cameraman a lot, that’s why grandma brings him a camera. Adrian takes a lot of pictures of the sheep and shows us his masterpieces!
What’s more we see giraffes, hippos, and kangaroos!
It’s time to leave now. When we leave, we see the scenery of the zoo at nightfall.
