For those of you who are big fans of Hayao Miyazaki here is the Ghibli  Museum in Japan! His work includes Totoro, Kiki, Laputa and Spirited Away,  You can click here for more information, or go to the official website.

Ghibli Museum, opened in 2001, features the anime work of Studio Ghibli. Located in Tokyo, it is a child-oriented and playful museum. It has no set path or order of viewing - You will have fun in its mazelike interior!

Museum:10:00~18:00

*Straw Hat Cafe is open from 11:00 to 19:00, but customers are not permitted to enter after 18:00.

Closed

Weekly:The Museum is closed every Tuesday.

Other:The Museum is closed at Year-end and New Year’s Holidays, and for periodic maintenance.

Entrance to the Ghibli Museum is strictly by advance purchase of a reserved ticket which specifies the appointed date of the reservation.

Admission Fees

Over Age 19 ¥1,000

Age 13-18 ¥700

Age 7-12 ¥400

Age 4-6 ¥100

*Children under 4 are admitted free of charge.

*When purchasing the tickets outside Japan, charges will be calculated in your local currency at the current rate of exchange, and will also include a handling fee.
