‘まるしん亭’is a Japanese pancake house which allows customer to create their own Hello Kitty shaped pancake in Japanese style, also known as the Okonomiyaki.
Here are some of the customers’ sweet creations:
Aren’t they cute?
The store opened its doors in 2001, unfortunately, business was not as good as expected and it closed its doors in 2002. However, there are still thousands of other Okonomiyaki Restaurants across Japan so you can go ahead and try it at least once - and maybe you can try to see if you can make one in Hello Kitty shape too!
Have fun : )

Now that you have stayed with me and travelled with me - it’s time to eat me!!! (Just joking!)
Well, there is a bakery in Japan where you can enjoy freshly baked buns shaped like my head, and the name of the bakery translates literally to “Hello Kitty’s Walking Path” in English.
It’s a tiny bakery but cutely decorated and this is what it looks like from the exterior:

And the inside? Let’s leave it a secret until you come visit me : )
The Hello Kitty Bakery is located in Kanagawa, Zama City, Komatsubara 2-23-30. Hope to see you there soon!

Out of all the Sanrio Gift Gate, this gotta be the cutest one of it all:

The Strawberry House is located at Denen Choufu 2-49-2. Shaped like two giant strawberries in bright and cheerful red, it can’t be missed from miles away!

For those who have been to Tokyo, the name Sanrio Puroland should be no stranger to you!
However, for those who haven’t been, Sanrio Puroland is an indoor playground in Tama city of Tokyo. On top of the fun music shows, my pink room and the famous boat ride, there are plenty of shops and specialty restaurants serving food and beverages featuring your favourite character - you will for sure find yourself having lots of fun while inside the theme park!
If your tour package does not include a ticket to Puroland, be sure to download a discount coupon from the official website before you go!
To find out more about Puroland such as location, hours of operations, and pictures inside the park, check out the official website in English or visit this online photo album. I hope I will see you at Puroland soon!

Stepping into one of the two Questina stores in Japan, you will smell the fragrance of fresh flowers plus the smell of elegance for grown-up.
Similar to the three Hello Kitty Store, Questina carries a range of Hello Kitty products, but tailored to the a more mature clientele such as the office ladies and the trendy moms.

The two stores are located in Ginza, Tokyo and Sapporo, Hokkaido. For more details on address, hours of operations and their latest offerings, check out their official blogs (in Japanese, of course) - [Tokyo Store] [Sapporo Store].
At the Tokyo store you can find the exclusive featuring me and my friends, plus other seasonal bouquets - it’s a store you can’t miss while visiting Tokyo!
