Work is also ongoing on the game’s first expansion pack, to be titled “Island Adventure” and scheduled for release in 2009.

Island Adventure will be the first expansion pack in gaming history that will reduce rather than expand an existing game world. The premise is the crash-landing (without casualties) on a mysterious island in the South Pacific of Hello Kitty Air flight 337, which had been carrying Hello Kitty and friends to the 5^th Cuteness World Symposium in Perth, Australia.

Our heroes – including Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru and many others – find themselves marooned on the nameless island along with a couple hundred fellow passengers, whose roles will be filled by end-users. Soon the survivors discover that the island is inhabited by a community of squat, foul-mouthed, inferiorly-animated characters whose only intention is to send the newcomers packing by any means possible.

I smell an April Fools Joke

Talk about a daring sense of fashion, I don’t think this one is available in stores, but it’s interesting!

Apparently just recently Hello Kitty for Men got attention by the likes of boingboing which I blogged about in October already. Even CBS saw fit to write about this story.

Hello Kitty has arrived as a Mens line of fashion! A recent event demonstrated how Hello Kitty style would be fit for Men too!

A whole line that consists of T-shirts, bags, sports wear and watches.

Hello Kitty Watches in a black, men sort of style.

It even featured a line of Hello Kitty Boxers, that’s right, Hello Kitty mens underwear, if girls can have Kitty underwear, why not men? Hello Kitty has conquered the hearts of women, now it’s time Men looked at it too!

You could mistake her for a relative of Hello Kitty. I wouldn’t be the first one to think of Hello Kitty "dog" fashion, but it’s fun anyway, especially for the fluffy white variety of dog.
