Just love this quote! Hello Kitty is a storm that is like a mad giggling hurricane, brilliant!

Toontown vs. HKO? We’re Girls and Women, not Children!

So I came across this article:

http://www.zergwatch.com/News-288/MMORPG-Showdown-Hello-Kitty-vs-Toontown-Online.html

an interesting comment:

So while most of the MMORPG world is watching and waiting for a WoW KO of Age of Conan and Warhammer Online, my eyes are on the gritty powerstruggle that will ensue between Disney’s Toontown Online and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty Online.
Just from the pure
gayness and pop-culture that surrounds Hello Kitty, my money is riding on Hello Kitty.

Well it’s great that you like Hello Kitty Online, but in keeping with some of the other posts I’ve seen, why do you all think Hello Kitty Online is for children first and then for older people later on? I’m not a child (at least age wise), and mosf of the beta players are not children either, infact I did not find any kids there at all, but maybe I chose not to meet them.

My point is, do away with the stereotype that pink and cute must mean it’s for kids, it’s not Club Penguin, it’s not Neo Pets. If you must know, Hello Kitty lovers go for this! And we think ourselves more as the below than as little kids.

So this is one of the more cute fashion statements (if kind of covered version), a photo obviously from Harajuku (the cosplay center of planet earth see signage). I don’t know cosplay much at all so I do not know if this is a character or not but it’s cute and interesting.

The acid smiley gives it a cute non anime sort of touch I think.

This one here is my button she made, it’s really nice!

The blog of our HKO MMO guild is here, we’re a strong guild is all I can say! Here’s a snapshot of our guild on the last beta!

I got this one from ripplecloud, thanks for the tip! Incase the above video doesn’t link correctly, then go directly to the link over on http://www.elle.fr/elle/elle-video/(chaine)/558757/(video)/558761

as seen on Sanriotown, got to love the pinkness of it! The most pink car you’ll ever see!

It’s for real, for those of you who don’t know Samanda they are famous pop musicians with the famous ditzy track "I’m a Barbie Girl" which you may already know if you click the song, I did not know they were called Samanda (who are real twins!), they are now blogging on Sanriotown, way cool! Now if they could only tell us the Blog URL?!

A quick search reveals this this video link as below as to their possible residence site, but not sure.

To see the actual Barbie Girl Video, this is what I see on YouTube, you’ll know the song.

Very cute video of a Hello Kitty mobile phone, the design of the model looks a few years old but it’s still ultra-cute!

Actually, not so secret, I’m not sure what she is doing exactly but it looks cutesly suspiously (and that is intentional wrong spelling there)

Courtesy of DeviantArt once again, these folks have some fantastic pictures there that are rich in new ideas and style.

As announced on the blog

Work is also ongoing on the game’s first expansion pack, to be titled “Island Adventure” and scheduled for release in 2009.

Island Adventure will be the first expansion pack in gaming history that will reduce rather than expand an existing game world. The premise is the crash-landing (without casualties) on a mysterious island in the South Pacific of Hello Kitty Air flight 337, which had been carrying Hello Kitty and friends to the 5th Cuteness World Symposium in Perth, Australia.

Our heroes – including Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru and many others – find themselves marooned on the nameless island along with a couple hundred fellow passengers, whose roles will be filled by end-users. Soon the survivors discover that the island is inhabited by a community of squat, foul-mouthed, inferiorly-animated characters whose only intention is to send the newcomers packing by any means possible.

I smell an April Fools Joke ;-)
