Laptop sushi anyone?

Friday, September 28th, 2007

Yum

Got this image from a blog called Dark Roasted Blend. Tiny bento sushi laptop on *cough* Windows. Was this a marketing thing? Heheheh jk I’m not that hostile toward Windows. Actually I’m using Windows now :]

I dunno though, I don’t think I’d eat this so easily. I’d take a few pictures with it first, poke it, pretend to use it a bit, make a tiny mouse or printer to go with it maybe. Or change the display to show a game loading screen. The possibilities! :D

We could call it, the Bentop.

I leave the caption up to you

Hmm

I found this very odd pic from The Big Breakfast Blog, I’m not sure what to feel about this.. Also I really can’t really think of a place where this sign would be appropriate or even useful. Heheheh.

At the bottom they put “Not your conventional printer” …I hope they don’t mean, they only make signs of this nature. Lol.

How about some caption suggestions? Nothing bad, mean or foul please :]

Also I think that looks like an  egg. Doesn’t that look like an egg? Hmm.

The Gingerbread PC

Gingerbread

I know I already gave it away with the title, but…can you believe this is a PC? Looks delicious! :]

This is actually a case mod, meaning, some guy made a custom case for his PC. And what a nice idea for a design :D Found on Envador. The other side looks even better hehehe. Details below:

Gingerbread

  • The icing was made with weather-stripping caulk.
  • The gingerbread walls were made with hardboard (basically pegboard without the holes).
  • The fake candies and other decorations were bought from Hobby Lobby.
  • HDD, DVDRom, PSU are mounted on underside of platform (see in-the-making pics below)
  • Small-sized PC components were from a Shuttle XPC SFF (Small Form Factor) Barebones Kit

It’s almost October, so this is very timely, almost Christmas anyways hehehe. If you wanna see the other pics, including what it looks like inside and “the making” images, go to Envador.

Very Cryptic

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

Hmmm.

Okay, the first three lines “Pedestrian Casualty Reduction”, is already kinda sad. I wonder what the pedestrian casualty rate over there is? And what’s with the signal timings experiment? I hope that doesn’t involve trial and error, where the error is when a pedestrian dies. :|

Got the pic from this page btw. Apparently it’s from London. Haha, I’m sure there’s a more logical explanation for it. :]

One for shirt-folders everywhere.

At home there are certain chores that are assigned to me, like washing the dishes, dusting, ironing the clothes, and also folding them. Well here’s a freaky but cool thing I friend showed me that I’m thinking of trying out.

I present to you, the freakishly fast way to fold shirts. Observe.

Cool eh? I’ll try it out later :] Although I do assume that it’s not as easy as it looks. Heheheh.

Play Line Rider beta

I present to you, Line Rider by FSK. :]

I urge you to play this, it’s very fun, very addictive! Basically, it’s a little man with a red and white scarf, riding a bike on the lines you make. You determine whether he has a smooth ride or if he, well, crashes painfully into the ground. Or you could just make him fall off the edge forever.

Doesn’t sound interesting? Wait till you try it out. Just click the image or the link up there :D

Kalashnikitty

Wednesday, September 12th, 2007

Hmm look at what I found. I saw this post on Kt Sanctuary about the Hello Kitty armalite, and then I found this weird thing.
Kalashnikitty

Oh I hope nobody gets offended, please don’t hate me :[ This isn’t a joke or anything, I found it and just thought of sharing heheh. I’m curious who made this though. And what does “Kalashni” mean? I’m guessing this person doesn’t like Hello Kitty that much lol.

Speaking of this, I just remembered that yesterday was the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The cousin of one of my officemates apparently did in that attack.. Such troubled times we have.

Sorry if this kinda breaks the light-hearted feel of my blog.

Upside Down

Upside Down

No, this isn’t a picture of a typhoon victim. Believe it or not, this house is just the way it should be. I found it on nipponsoup. It’s actually designed that way — upside-down. Seriously, see, there’s a door by the chimney. :]

Ah Japan. I think the only country that can get away with stuff like this and still manage to be considered “cool” :D

I wonder what this looks like on the inside heheheh.

NO ONE WILL SURVIVE

NO ONE WILL SURVIVEThere is no escaping the raw power of The Chuck Norris, and now you can HARNESS about 1/1000000th of that power with these Chuck-chuks. Each blow from this is equivalent to 9,237,239,847 bulls pounding on your back all at once :D

LOL.

Chuck Norris owns! :D

(Oh um no this isn’t an actual item ROFL)

Bacon Cooks Bacon

Wake n Bacon

Heheheh now isn’t this funny-looking? It’s the Wake n’ Bacon! :D Made by a certain Matty Sallin. And how appropriate the name is.

See, this is how it works: You put some frozen bacon inside the pig. You set the alarm to whatever time you want, then 10 minutes before that, it starts cook the bacon. By the time the alarm goes off, you’re greeted by the smell of newly-cooked bacon. YUM.

I think this is an awesome way to wake up. Also the design’s fun. :D
