Why Virtual Rain
There’s just something about the rain that makes me happy. Well actually, “happy” isn’t the right word. The feeling is closer to loneliness. It’s not quite just nostalgia either. When it’s raining outside, I see things differently. The school beside our house would look so sad, empty, more so than if the skies were clear.
So is it a bad feeling? Not really. It’s not a happy feeling, but I’m not sad either. For some reason the rain gives me that feeling that everything’s gonna be alright. It feels like the rain is one of the things that tie us together—our past, present and future, us to other people, us to our thoughts. It slows things down for some people, it speeds things up for some. When it rains, I feel like all’s well.
Ialways want to have that feeling. ![]()

People always are confused with my love of rain and clouds, since I have such a “happy” reputation. But this just sums is up perfectly. Also, I just love that picture!
