Through the magic of advanced micro-technology, STRANGEco will soon pack all the addictiveness of tokidoki figures into pint sized (1-2") zipper pulls.  Expected sometime in mid-spring, the tokidoki Frenzies feature 22 different characters sold in blind assortment (includes removable cell phone lanyard).

Simone Legno will be at Royal/T on Saturday, February 28th [2-5 PM] for the official drop of the 2nd tokidoki Be@rbrick mini from Medicom.  First shown in proto form last summer, this pink, black ‘n white design pays homage to tokidoki’s base of operations – LA.

Good news to all tokidoki fans! Adios and Ciao Ciao has been turned to plushies! You can now hug your favorite undying couple. Both stand 9” tall and should hit retailers’ shelves in late February or early March.

Doodle time! He’s amazing! He was able to draw on that cactus pup! With all those spikes on majority of his toys, I wondered how he will sign those, but he did!!! XD

Each Mini Munny he doodled on is unique! I hope that “flippers” stop selling these personalized treasures on eBay! Other artists doesn’t want to sign DIY Munnys because the figures only end up on eBay. I’m so glad Simone signed these. I’ll keep mine forever!!! XD

Simone has  a really cool cap! Too bad I don’t have a photo of the hem of his pants. It had some cute designs on it. XD

Another great toy signing event last September 21, 2008! Thank you FRESH!!!

Went with my significant other and a friend of mine, who just started collecting. My bad! I influenced her to collect. Mwahahaha!

Even though we’re at the first part of the line, signing took awhile since Simone Legno signs not only his toys and other products carrying his designs, he also signs shoes, jackets, gadgets, etc. If you also request a specific character to doodle, he will do so. Such a very friendly and nice guy! XD

Tons of toys inside! When fans and collectors came…SOLD OUT! Hehe.

Asked Simone Legno to sign the box of my Pizza Dunny and Miao. Those were pretty large pieces…got pretty worried with the signing limit, but I’m glad he signed those along with my Mini Munny and Platinum Sandy.  XD

I’m so excited with this event. I already prepared some of the toys that I’ll ask him to doodle and sign. XD Hurrah for Tokidoki!

Simone "Tokidoki" Legno at FRESH Manila!

Known for his collaboration works for Lesportsac, Sanrio, Smashbox Cosmetics and a lot more. Popular also for his works in the designer toy industry. His designs can be seen in Qees, Dunnys, Trexis, Kanizas, Be@rbricks, etc. His other characters like Cactus Friends has also reached the toy shelves, but doesn’t stay there for long since stocks were immediately sold-out!

Tokidoki’s TIGER character was created for their ongoing collaboration with Japanese sneaker brand Onitsuka, and is now a great new Tokidoki/Strangeco collectible figure project!

These four tigers have no names because they are wild creatures:

The yellow tiger likes books, punk rock music, jogging and playing soccer.

The pink tiger likes hot weather, staying at home, eating spicy food and playing video games.

The white tiger is the most aggressive; he is a natural born hunter who loves deer venison carpaccio.

The orange tiger vegetarian and is less aggressive than the rest of his friends; he likes surfing and relaxing on the beach.

Being fans of the beautiful game and in celebration of the European Soccer Championships, Tokidoki has collaborated with Mikasa to create this limited edition soccer ball.
