A Bento set like no other, Chef Andrew Bell’s course includes a nervous limb-challenged squid figure with articulated arms/legs (well… stumps), two sets of interchangeable eyes, a bowl of tentacles and a slice of tentacle sushi.
Limited to 150 sets, the blue edition will be available at SDCC.

In conjunction with Toy2R, Dark Horse will start things off for their Domo Qee blind-box mini series with a special SDCC Exclusive transparent yellow Domo Qee. The full series will launch in August featuring the lovable Japanese TV mascot and a fun ‘Build-a-Domo’ concept. Each figure comes with an extra component – combine all six of the different extra parts to build a bonus Domo fig. The Domo Qees are Dark Horse’s first blind-box series to date.

Rotofugi has done it again and have chosen two very talented artists to showcase their artwork in their gallery. The very skilled Jeremiah Ketner and the ever so lovely Julie West bring you Flower Parade. Opening reception takes place on Friday, April 10th from 7 – 10 PM and the exhibit continues through April 24th.

Japanese online bear store Danke Schoen have invited 15 Japanese artists to create original one-off work for the 100% Free Exhibition which will open on April 4th and run through the 19th @ Stitch in Tokyo. Each artist will base their creations on the Danke Schoen mascot bears and the ‘100% Free’ theme. Participating artists include such familiar names as Touma, Shin Tanaka and many more. All the artwork will be available for sale during the show.

This cute, custom Mikazukin by Kazuhiko Ito (Itokin Park) will be seen at Super 7 in San Francisco this Saturday, February 28, 2009. Check out those little Mikazukins inside the clear vinyl figure.
Only Itokin Park can pull that off. Hehe.

Here are the exclusives in the T x T Project: GID Rangeas and Virus Rangeas. With the Virus version only limited to 25 pieces these will definitely be a hot commodity. The Glow in the Dark will run ¥7,350 ($83) and the Virus will run ¥10,500 ($118).

Tim Biskup and T9G are working together to put on a show at Stitch in Tokyo, Japan. Taking place on Friday, February 6th this show will exhibit paintings, prints, and custom one of a kind figures by both artists. It is said that there will also be a new colorway of the Tim Biskup x T9G Rangeas.
