Japan LA will host the Pink One, Buff Monster, for a summer celebration this Thursday, July 9, 2009 (7-10 PM).  Expect release of a new print and a hand-printed t-shirt, plus more Buff Monster goodness including toy deals.

Zakkamono’s Miao is back with a brand-new artist edition from Buff Monster.  The cheerful cat and his rad Mousubi companion  feature subtle visual Buffisms from the bubble outlines to the kanji.  The new Miao will be available in three editions – gray + pink (250 pieces), silver + black (250 pcs), and a Zakkamono web exclusive in green GID (100 pcs).

Treasure Hunt! There are a few rares shuffled in that box! A few lucky buyers were able to get 1 out of 25 special clear green Buff Monster Ice Cream figure. Yup! That’s only 25 pieces in the world!

Rare paintings were also sold during the event. Each painting is one of a kind and will never be made again! My brother and I got a few of those to match our rooms. Hehe.

Hurrah!!! Buff Monster has arrived! He’s signing a China exclusive figure. (08.08.08) Good thing a few of those figures arrived here. A few early birds were able to get that.

That was one great event and that was only Day 1. I didn’t get to attend the following days, but I’m sure nothing beats the launching day.

The FRESH Asia exclusive is available only at DNM Hong Kong this Friday and Fresh Manila on Saturday.
