Ever heard of Jupiter? Aside from being a part of the solar system, it can also be found here in Florida. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour drive from West Palm Beach to Jupiter, Florida. Achi Lina drove us there to visit the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and museum. The lighthouse has been lighted in the 1860’s and it has 105 steps from base to the top. We did go up and I sure felt my legs ache today. It wasn’t that scary to go up. But it was unnerving to get down. Interesting though, you can buy a brick for a hundred dollars or so and that they can put whatever dedication you want on it. Then they will be a part of the bricked path going to the lighthouse. Good way to leave a memento behind. A lot of weddings happen there too, and some bricks where a reminder of that day!
