Wow!  I didn’t expect Sanrio Town to do this type of contest.

Personally I loooove traveling.  And I must admit I’m lucky enough to have been to places.  So rummaging thru my folders of pictures.  It seems that  early this year, I’ve been to three countries namely China, Macau and Singapore.

Xiamen, China

My Father, originally from Xiamen has been fond of going back and forth to his homeland.  When he passed we somehow continued this tradition of going back “Home”.  Like a remembrance of sorts.  Being with family and friends in China is always fun.

Well, I thought I would write a Hello Kitty travel blog about my time at Glastonbury festival! Glastonbury Festival is a big music and culture festival, in Somerset in England. Of course, Hello Kitty items were there, and I even got my self a temporary Hello Kitty tattoo, and a hair bow!

I had a really great time there, even though it was difficult to pitch up the tent at first. It only rained one time, which made the ground really muddy, so my pink wellies really did come in handy! The rest of the time, it was really hot, which is quite uncommon for Glastonbury!

We got to see a lot of great bands, and also taste some great food and learn about different music and cultures. I spent a lot of time in the shop which sold Hello Kitty items, and I bought two Hello Kitty hair bows which were absolutely adorable! And I was able to buy presents for my friends from that shop, too. I also bought a pretty new dress, which was nice too. I got to sample Japanese spicey noodles, and they were so good I went and got them again! It was really nice to watch the sun set over Glastonbury Tor, which is like a mini castle at the top of a big hill.

I also got to spend more time with my family and my friend who also went with us, which was all part of the fun too. Making cups of tea on the camping stove was a lot of fun too! Camping wasn’t all that bad, luckily no nasty bugs got into our tent so we were fine! There was lots to see and do, many bands, and even a circus style tent! I really liked being at the Pyramid Stage because there were a lot of people there and it was nice to sit on the hill and listen to the good music.

There were lots of flags there, and they were really pretty and I took lots of pictures of them against the sunset. They were so nice, my Mum even wanted to buy one to put in our garden! It had lots of different cultures from all over the world, I really liked the part which had crafts and music, because there were all different kinds, and I’m also really interested in art so it was good for me to see that.

There was also a place called Trash City which I especially liked, there were lots of things made of of old junk, and there was even an aeroplane there! I took lots of pictures there, too, and it was really interesting to see all the different artwork and sculptures.

I actually enjoyed waking up in the morning and going to get my breakfast! All in all it was a great experiance and I’d really love to go again, and I’d say to anyone considering going, to do so because it’s a lot of fun!

Puroland

I am really glad that the Travel the World contest is being conducted. It gives me an opportunity to share with all my little bits of paradise )

http://blog.hellokitty.com/traveltheworld

My paradise lies in Puroland. A world of happiness and constant immersion in happy tunes. At the break of dawn, I took a quick breakfast at the hotel and took the train there, continuously transferring trains(though there was a straight line, but apparently only arrives at a much later timing) in order to reach Puroland at the fastest possible time!

As a 24th birthday gift to myself, I indulged again with my favorite past time… to travel. I had this in planning for about 3 months (middle of May-Aug). It will be a week-long getaway with my best friend of 10 years, Gracee … to cosmopolitan KL, Malaysia and fantastical Bali, Indonesia.
