On a different, and I mean, very, very different note, I would like to share a ‘cute’ video with you. Students from my school!

He was imitating Rihanna in her Umbrella MV, and was caught fooling around by the teacher who came in a while later.

…where will I be and what will I be doing? Will I have a place to live in? Will I have money for myself? Will I be lonelier than now? Will my eyes allow me to read? Will I still have my teeth? Will I hear the phone ring? Why do I have this nagging feeling that this is such an irrelevant topic? Because by then, I will probably be long dead.

I got an email from an old friend. No, I havent known her for ages, she is just someone I got to know a few years ago and she is old. In fact, she is as old as the title of this post. Last year, her second husband past away at the age of 85. Hmm, they were a loving couple, and were married for about ten years. I feel sad for them not because he has ‘left’ her for I know they will meet again, but because they were planning for a New Zealand trip a few months before he was diagnosed with… whatelse? Sigh, he passed away six months later last year. Following that, emails from her thanked many people including me for our words of concerns, and she also mentioned that she would be busy with visits from her relatives and friends.

I just received an email from her today. In the email, she said she is very lonely. I hate to know that someone I know is lonely.

She has definitely gone crazy. Look at what she had in her mouth, and her ‘dress’ is definitely the worst of its kind. I have this feeling that she made the dress herself or at least somebody else made it for her. I hope that it is not some Sanrio brand partywear.

I think she looks cool. Maki Goto is a Japanese singer and a member of the J-pop group, Morning Musume. I so like her hair!!!

Yes! That’s right! We should have siew mai everyday! I am drooling as I am typing this. Okay, I know this isnt the most glamorous statement of my life, but you see, it is almost 3AM now, I am very awake and I cant seem to sleep. If you would look at these:

Lunch was dim sum at Crystal Jade Palace two days ago. I think dim sum is the best Chinese food! Hmpf. I will be having all these in a few minutes after I hit bed!

Honda Airwave is five-door station wagon produced by the Japanese automaker Honda. It has been in the market since 2005. This is a picture of a Honda Airwave before the attack of a Mario overdose.

…and her new boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.

So who is this Adnan Ghalib? Well, he is a Pakistani, 35 years old and works as a celebrity photographer for the agency FinalPixx.

On May 10, 1940, the Germany army invaded the Netherlands, with the intention of conquering the country in one day. However, they were met with fierce resistance and so on May 14, 1940, the Germans bombed Rotterdam, destroying the heart of the city, killing 800 people and leaving 80, 000 others homeless. The Germans also threatened to bomb other cities, to which the Netherlands then surrendered to.

Ossip Zadkine, a Russian Jewish sculptor, who had been through WW1 and WW2, captured this tragedy with his statue Stad Zonder Hart, which also means, City without a Heart. It is a memorial to the destruction of the city centre of Rotterdam by the Germans in 1940.

From 1950s through 1970, the city was rebuilt with apartments, office buildings, recreation facilities, etc, of new styles. These are the pictures which I have taken in Rotterdam. See how different they are from other cities of Netherlands.

After three weeks of break, school started again this week. I am back at work and enjoying the daily routine of going to work, work, work, work and back. You dont want to know this, but I am still going to tell you. Our next break is in four weeks’ time, and that break is going to last for ten weeks before the start of the next academic year. Man, what am I going to do in that ten weeks?

Oh, my birthday is coming soon! 12th of Feb, that is. It is in the ten weeks’ break, and I am going to surprise myself with a present. But first I have to buy something, wrap it up, put it away till 12th of Feb, and open it with a gush of excitement. Anyone has any suggestion on what to buy for myself as the present?
