A Moving Experience At Every Turn

                                                                          The Singapore Flyer

This is our very own observation wheel! Yippee! It is located on the southern part of our island and it is supposed to offer excellent views of the city centre and 45 metres beyond. But what a name, the Singapore Flyer. I dont hope it flies and I dont hope I fly when it is finally my turn to ride on it. Anyway, apart from the oh-so-boring name, the Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel with a diameter of 150 metres and a total height of 165 metres. This height exceeds that of the current largest observation wheel, The London Eye, by 15 metres.

The Singapore Flyer will be completed by early 2008, and then we have the tallest observation wheel! Weeeee!

Woaaaah that’s big! Just thinking, how long will you wait before you could go down, after the ride is finish.

Luty, ah! The best it could go is the Guinness World Records, I think. It is very, very ‘far’ away from the wonders. :D

Hi JJ, yes it is big. :D Oh, wikipedia says each turn is 37 minutes.
