…is often coated with silly, in fact, very silly rules.
1. Silly rule in the train
Scenario: You are in the train and you are seated at the position as indicated in the following illustration:

The train reached a particular station and all passengers left the train except you and the passenger to your left:

Rule: You should immediately move to the furthest possible seat:

Reason: On a small island, many people are often enclosed within a pathetic amount of space. Hence Passenger A might mistake your refusal to move to the furthest possible seat as a sign of aggression.
2. Silly rule in the lift
Scenario: You are in the lift and you are standing at the position as indicated in the following illustration:

The lift reached a particular level and everyone exit the lift except you and the lift taker to your right:

Rule: You should immediately move to the furthest possible position:

Reason: The same reason that applies to the previous rule.
3. Silly rule in the loo
Scenario: You enter the loo and there is only one urinal available so you take it, as indicated in the following illustration:

For some coincidental reason, both the urinal users to your right left except you and the urinal user to your left:

Should you immediately pause and move to the furthest possible urinal? No:

Rule: You should immediately pause and move to Urinal 3.

Reason: After Urinal User A is done, he will proceed to the basin to wash his hands. By moving to Urinal 3, you will not be too close to him when he is washing his hands.
