Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
I really like the graphics in this movie. I was never a big fan of Final Fantasy, but now I am interested in it. Okay, actually I am just interested in the characters of the movie. I am really impressed by their looks. They look so real and yet so cartoon’ish. I tried to watch the movie but I gave up after 10 minutes. It is all too dramatic and there is too much light. I felt that my eyes were starting to hurt, and the old me decided to just stop watching it.
These are the four main characters in the movie and they are the good guys.
Long story short. Bad guys against good guys. Okay, I know that is a lame one but hey, I didnt watch the movie! For the real storyline, go to adventchildren.net.
She is my favourite character. I like her hair. My other favourite character is Kadaj, one of the three silver haired men.
Cool, right? I wish he is real! He and his two silver haired friends are the bad guys.

Hey, cool! I played the game and I actually have a copy of the movie.:D My favorite from the beginning is Vincent Valentine.

Cool! I like Kadaj, the bad guy. He is also one of the three silver haired men. Woohoo, I wish he is real!

Silver hair = pretty, I’ve always believed :3

So cool, right? Look at the three of them! WooHoo!

Sephiroth, the original silver-haired dude of FF7, pwns these three though (even if they are hawt, never mind that they’re animated :D). I would’ve crushed on him, if he wasn’t the bad guy. lol Kadaj is the best looking of the trio.:D Yazoo’s too pretty, and Loz just plain scares me.o_o
Have you watched the film in full already?:D I’m still a proud Vincent Valentine fan, with his claws and weird transformations and all.:P

shadowcat, I have not watched it yet. Soon.
Yeah, Kadaj and Yazoo are very cool, and they look almost alike except one has longer hair. At the beginning of the show, did one of the three silver-haired guys said something like cloud has mother with him? What does that mean?

I could tell you, but you might strangle me for giving out spoilers.:D lol I guess it’s safe to say that Cloud is their brother in a very loose sense.:D
June 5th, 2007 at 8:48 am
OH my, really?! I was already wondering why they have that different hair colour. I thought I heard it wrong. Anyway, it would be nice if you do and I will appreciate it. Furthermore, I know I wont and I cant strangle you. HaHa, I dont know where you are!

Haha! The thing was, the guys were lab rats by this creepy scientist named Hojo. They were infused with the DNA of Jenova (I’m still not sure what Jenova is, and I’ve played the game AND watched the movie), so, in a way, that makes them brothers.:)
Sephiroth and these three stooges (Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz) call Jenova their “mother”.:P They considered Cloud as a “bad brother” because he wanted to save the Planet, while they want to destroy it - a way for them to be with their so-called mum.

That is like so so cool! Such sweep-me-off-the-ground kind of lab rats! So if they are of the same kind, how did they end up so differently in their thinking? HaHa, so Jenova is not human?
Thanks for telling the story, shadowcat. You are the best shadow around, I mean the best cat. I timestamped a post on cats tomorrow.
Check it out, ok? *hugs*

Jenova is this creature/thing/watchamacalit that some scientists (including Hojo) mistook for one of the Ancients (a kind of race/breed that are predecessors to humans). It turns out to be some sort of creature that wants to rule the world, and Sephiroth (the original silver-haired dude) ends up being the product of the experiment of being infused Jenova’s cells (from his birth mother’s womb).*phew*
Haha! I have a VCD of the movie.:P I want to watch it all over again.:D
Kitties! Cute pictures!

Cool. Thanks for telling me the story, shadowcat! It sounds interesting coming from you!
Ah, you have a VCD of this movie? How many Final Fantasy movies are there before this Final Fantasy VII?
Yes, the kitties are cute!

HaHa, actually I know the difference between I and VII. I just dont remember that many Final Fantasy movies before this one. I suspect there arent that many, right?
June 12th, 2007 at 4:53 am
I only know of this and Spirits Within.:P That one didn’t get a lot of good reviews though. I think the reason why “Advent Children” clicked was because it’s the most popular FF game so far.:D

I see. Good to know a FF fan!

[…] Tingal’s post on Advent Children made me remember Final Fantasy 7, and who else personifies the game/movie/more games than Cloud Strife, the amnesiac “SOLDIER.” […]
