Friends?
I was reading one of Raein’s posts and it got me thinking why some people just do not show respect to the people they called friends.
Just the other day I HAD to meet up with a friend of mine because she asked me out for dinner and since I had no other dinner plans, I agreed. I actually planned to do some shopping in the afternoon but because she said she will pick me up in the late afternoon, I stayed at home the whole afternoon waiting for her call. She didnt contact me till I sent her a message in the late afternoon to ask if she’s on her way to my place. When she called back, she sounded frustrated and asked if I will be going there on my own. She made a remark that the ride from her place to mine and then from my place to the dinner place is so goddamned far. I was not too impressed by her remark so I decided to go there on my own just for that stupid dinner. I could have gone there earlier for shopping as well if I had known it. I am NOT her no.1 fan but I could still take her nonsense througout dinner. Somehow I wasnt paying much attention to her anyway. The second slap came we walked past a bookstore and I told her that I wanted to look for a particular book, and she made this loud remark - I DIDNT KNOW YOU READ! - right at the entrance of the bookstore! If I were any braver, I would have given her a slap. Tight slap.
Later in the evening, I met up with a few other friends to have coffee. One of them was really mean to me throughout. I refused to recall what she said about me.
I called someone in the late night because he did not reply to my messages and I was worried about him. His first line to me - WHY DID YOU CALL?
I love Melody.
Happy babe.

oh, yeah sometimes we get sad with our friends… have you told to this people that you didn’t like what they’ve done? Sometimes it helps…

“I DIDNT KNOW YOU READ!” - was this said in a haughty voice? =S
Deary, maybe you were just having a bad day. And taking it all in stride makes you a better person!
Unlike me who just made a very mean remark to then previous friend. Hahaha
You go girl!

She said it in disbelief, and knowing her, I know she isnt joking. She just thinks that she is superior to everyone.
You are right. I had a bad day.
I am just going to see less of her to save myself some troubles.
I hope you are fine with your friend now…

Oooh. I’m actually doing what you’re doing now — seeing less of the friend
We’re having a cold war (we’re civil yet we perfectly ignore each other). And it makes me feel so much better.
It’s weird huh, you think you know someone. Or maybe that’s the problem

Some people are just plain annoying at times or all the times…
