~DAY 19~

Ryan was sick on his birthday (yesterday), so we couldn’t do anything D: I hope he gets well really soon.

Well, I woke up, didn’t shower this morning today and got dressed. Then I had my mom curl my hair (yeah, I don’t know how to do that myself XD). I don’t see how some people and stand that, just standing there, pulling their hair just to look pretty. It hurts ; ~ ; And it didn’t turn out the way I thought it would. More curled at the bottom rather than curled like….I don’t know how to explain…Anyways, how you guys do that?!? It’s painful, and tiring, and I’m impatient! How can you have the patience to do that, but not have the patience to do something…like read?!?

Band room. I talked to Michael #2 (there are 2 Michaels) while this huge crowd of people surrounded Anthony for some reason. I guess he was showing them something on his iPhone, or something. And then, suddenly Keaton dropped Chad’s trumpet on one of the quads and then Ben literally jumped on Keaton!! And everyone’s just like O.O It happened so fast I couldn’t really believe my eyes. Luckily, Keaton is taller than Ben (then again, who ISN’T he taller than?), so it probably didn’t hurt him. But, wow, that was…wooow…

First hour. Worked on the broadcast, as always. I don’t get why there are SO many airheads in it -.-; Should’ve done it full year though, because it’s fun (minus the whiny girls). And Aaron and Brandon are doing yearbook full semester (they have to), and it’s fun to hang around them. It was funny because Summer found her library book in one of the desks and she was like, “Who put my book here?!? I’ve been missing it since Friday and I needed it for 5th hour!!” And then Brandon walks in right when she’s looking at his direction and he has this look that says ‘Yeah-I-Did-It’ Twisted Evil Scott Lee (I seriously don’t think anyone likes him…) choose a stupid thought of the day for the broadcast. It was something like “What did kids play with before the Industrial Revolution” or something. I get it, but it’s not funny. He fails at life, seriously.

Second hour. Lab, woo. We had to find the mass of some canisters and record it basically and guessimate how many nuts and bolts were in which can. Simple, really. We’ll continue it tomorrow.

Third hour. Whoops, forgot to do my homework over the weekend XD Erm…We went over the guided reading and I wrote Ryan’s cell phone number on the part of my arm after my wrist, the back side, so I wouldn’t be in trouble for having ink on me (we get in trouble for writing on our clothes, too. Strict, huh?). I just needed a way to memorize it, because I’d rather not look it up on my email account everytime I want to call.
HOMEWORK: Worksheet Pg. 55. Document-Based Questions (separate sheet of paper)

Fourth hour. Chunky, chunk, chunk. We’re finishing up chunking sentences into parts. And then moving on to “stair steps”. Fun, fun (not). It’s painful to my hands. Dx Lemmi see anything interesting….nothing, except SOMEONE remind me to burn an Owl City CD to bring there because I wanna listen to something I like while I work!

Fifth hour. Band. Ugh, for once I don’t like it. We basically worked on our stickings, since Mr. P focused more on the brass. Boringgggg…I don’t know if I’ve told you guys about the ‘Gay-Hater’ joke, did I? I”m going to post it anyways:

Shelby: “Aaron, I should braid your hair.”
Aaron: “No, that looks gay.”
JD: “What do you have against gays?”
Brad: “Yeah, what’s wrong with being gay?”
Aaron: “Nothing!! It just looks gay!”
JD and Brad: “Why do you hate gays?”
Brad: “Did one molest you?” XDDDDDD I started cracking up.
Aaron: “No I-”
JD: “He has homophobia.”
Brad and JD: “GAY-HATER D:
Brandon: “Aaron, how can you hate being happy?”
Aaron: “Gay isn’t happy!”
Me: “Look it up in the dictionary, it means happy!”
Brandon and Me: “Happy-Hater! D:< Evil or Very Mad
Aaron: *sigh*

Sixth hour. Troy is so annoying, after everything the teacher says, he’s like “Huh?” And then the teacher has to explain is again. Ugh, more homework for me. This is always an uninteresting class.
HOMEWORK: Pg. 107 (1-9)

Seventh hour. We took our SRI’s and I got a score of…*takes out a paper* 1364!! And that means I’m at a 12th grade reading level! Woo! I can pass that reading test that we’ll have to take in April already xD And that means I should be able to get my driver’s license NOW D:< (if you don’t pass this test, you can’t get your license). My friend (who is, like, a GENIUS) got a 1500+ on hers. Which means she’s at a college level. I envy her. I got this huge Recommended Reading Report, but I don’t think I’ll like any of the books on it…

HOMEWORK LIST:
PAP History - Worksheet Pg. 55 DB Questions
Algebra I - Pg. 107 (1-9)

~DAY 20~
I woke up at 7:00 today. And missed the bus. So, my mom had to take me to school…It was 7:10 by the time I got there, hair still kinda wet…Not a good way to start the day.

Band room. Mr. P had set up the computer in the middle room, so any 8th graders who came in the morning could set up their Smart Music accounts. So, Brad was the first one and he kept messing up. It was funny. He accidentally clicked on Pennsylvania for the state he lived in.

“Brad, I didn’t know you lived in Pennsylvania. That’s a long way to drive to school,” I said. XDDD (Hey! That’s where Itachi lives! I’ll tell Brad to tell him hi! XDDD)

I totally sped through that and probably no one else finished registering as fast as me XD. Yay for good listening and typing!!! And then we messed around until 7:50.

First hour. Go buy a drink at Sonic and use the code to vote on a teacher’s wishlist…thingy ma jig! Limeades for learning! Basically, worked on the broadcast, until the teacher told us to go outside where the circle stairs where. And then we should under that, while Mr. S (Mr. Schneebly XDDD Sorry, I was thinking of the School of Rock.) was “sprinkling” fake money, so when the people took the pictures, it looked like money was raining. And we were supposed to try to catch all of that fake money. I didn’t catch anything, I didn’t collect $200, I didn’t pass go. Okay, seriously, WHY did I just put a Monopoly reference in there?!? I’ve already heard a bunch of Monopoly references yesterday!! And Finding Nemo references ever since school started!! What’s up with that?!? Well, AAANNNNYWAAAYYSS, I was waiting for Aaron to step off of the, um, whatcha call it. And he bent down to help pick up the “money” so, I almost fell on top of him, haha…Awkward….

Second hour. We were going to see if we guessed what was in the canister things from yesterday was right. My group got EVERY SINGLE ONE right! WOOO! Go us! And the homework it hard, I don’t know how to do it T~T. Anyone wanna help?
HOMEWORK: Balancing Act Worksheet; Element Project RESEARCH IT!!!

Third hour. Watched a video clip, and errmm…worked on a timeline (that I need to finish…) Oh joy, oh joy…
HOMEWORK: Timeline; Pg. 55 DBQ

Fourth hour. We continued to work on the “stair steps”, except no music this time.
HOMEWORK: Burn an Owl City CD!!!

Fifth hour. We set up our pads and worked on mallets too. We worked on some scales, rhyme studies, and a few songs (if you could call them that) in the book. Then we finally play Marches of the Armed Forces which is a medley of army songs, like Marines’ Hymn, The Caisson Song, Semper Paratus, The U.S Air Force Song, and Anchors Aweigh. I sat with the usual people at lunch, though I was kinda dazed. Later, I snapped back to reality and joined the conversation…Something about douchebags and what the word really meant. I asked Aaron why he kept saying what I was saying (he does that in first hour a lot, too), and he said because no one ever hears me. I kinda thought I had a moderately loud voice? But, everyone always says I’m quiet and all, so I guess not xD.

Sixth hour. We took some notes and did problems out of the book, while I “rested my eyes”. Like I always say, THIS CLASS IS SO BORING. Don’t blame me if I’ve been sleep deprived…(yeah, it’s ALL your guys’ fault, you people reading this! D:<). At least I breezed through the assignment, so no homework ^ ^. Hope I did them all right…

Seventh hour. We did this travel project thingy where we were put in groups (even though we already were in groups) and we’d try to put a sentence together and try to guess what literary element it was, such as characterization or something. There’s a new student in the classroom, since last week, but I never talked about him. Yesterday, Dom was like “That kid has a beard!!!” whispering it in my ear before we went in the computer lab for our SRIs. At first , I thought he was a volunteer person…But, then I realized he was the new kid. I bet he got held back o.o He looks scary and buff.

~DAY 21~

Field trip today!!! At least, I thought there was. It’s tomorrow, haha. We’re going to the MET center, which is a recycling place (it’s for Go-Greeners, :P)

Band room. Ben and his band (ECOLOGY; if they ever become famous, dude, you know I knew them 8D) were playing their guitars (David, the drummer, was taking a test, ha). It was so awesome. I heard Ben’s songs were really powerful and stuff. I want to hear them, sometime.

First hour. Well, helped people with broadcast. Talked to Aaron and Brandon about random stuff (when they should’ve been working :P). And then did my homework, haha.

Second hour. Weeellll, the scroll was messed up, so I had to run down to the broadcast room to fix it. That made me miss, like, half of the lecture T_T. And Molly, the girl who was supposed to explain it to me, didn’t really do a good job of it…Dang it….

Third hour. Test, and then, um…That’s it….I think I did a pretty good job on it.

Fourth hour. WOOO!!! New seating arrangement! I’m next to Aaron and Nick and Amy 8D Awesomesauce. Aaron and Nick are fun to hang around. We looked at the stair steps worksheet. I got a 100%, woo! The teacher passed some paper back. I got the same grade as Aaron, lol. Then we unscrambled a (very complicated) sentence. It was like, When his father, who was old and twisted with toil, made over ownership of the farm and seemed content to creep away to a corner and wait for death, he shrugged and dismissed the old man from his mind.’ (what a bad son!) Wow, I’m surprised I remembered that. That’s amazing! I have horrible memory, so my best friend always says xD. Anyways, it took us most of the hour. But, after we finished, we got the rest of the time to read. And I already finished Being Nikki, so I didn’t have anything to read ; ~ ;.

Fifth hour. We’re taking our band test! It’s the D Harmonic scale. So easy, if you’re a percussionist. It’s only B flat and C sharp. Well, I guess it was easier for me since, me = pianist. Half of the percussionists asked me for help on that scale, lol. And we got in trouble by Mr. P. Whoops. He said I did great on the test, though, woo! I spent the rest of the time working on unwanted homework. And we had to wait TEN minutes ’til we went to lunch because no one understood that Mr. P was waiting for some people to STOP FRIKKIN TALKING!!! 10 minutes for lunch. Not very fair >:\

Sixth hour. I was “resting my eyes” again. You know, like, you’re sleeping, but you’re still aware of what people are saying around you? Yeah, that. I don’t have to finish the homework today because I’ll be gone tomorrow. Yai! XD

Seventh hour. We read part of ‘The Schwa Was Here’. Funny book. But, people were talking, so we didn’t finish the chapter *sigh*. Idiots. Then, we took a test that I’m pretty sure I did a good job one. (:

Well, I found out on the bus, that my friend, Dillon, has a girlfriend! And I think she’s possibly in my first hour >:D Bwahahaha..

~DAY 22~
I’m back from a 1 hour nap, and I’m still tired! This morning, there was no way you could get me out of bed…until it was 6:10 (IMMA MISS MAH BUS!). Good thing it doesn’t take me long to get ready, haha.

Today, the band room was set up for the fundraiser; all the chairs in straight rows and facing front. There was a prize table at the front of the room, like usual. Aaron came in early (no idea why…) and we started messing with the prizes, and criticizing them, until the fundraiser guy shooed us away. Then, Ben came and he and his band set up their stuff and started playing. It was awesome.

First hour. Well, I finished the daily bulletin for the school’s website. Then I watched Aaron and Brandon work with Avery and Scott for finish the introduction for the promo thingy (this like 30 second video clip that comes before the Moment of Silence and flag salutes, before the broadcast starts). It was pretty funny. And Scott told me I had a facebook. Not asked, told me. Um…I think I know that already…But, apparently, he saw me on the suggestions thingy. And he said if I got a friend request, it was from him. Er, I could probably tell…But, everything thinks that kid is weeeeeiiiirrrd… Suspect

R.I.P twin towers.

Second hour. We worked on a test that I’m pretty sure I failed ; - ;. Unless, I’m good at guessing. And it’s only 15 questions! That’ll make it easier for me to fail ; - ; I hope we can retake it. During the test, the teacher sent kids to get their I.D pics taken. Mine is so horrible D:

At 9:30, I was dismissed early to go meet up with the other Go Greeners (who were going on the field trip). We left the school after checking to see if the equipment was all ready and okay. So, basically, we talked on the way there. About what we’re going to ask the people and such and such.

It only took a few minutes (or so it seemed) to get to the M.E.T. center. I had to set up the video camera and record the interview (because I was designated the camera person; no one else knew how to work it). I ish a bad camera person, LOL. But, after the interview and stuff, I put the camera up and we just talked to the head of the recycling center. She showed us some stuff made out of recycled stuff (Being vague is almost as fun as doing this other thing). She also showed us some of her upcycled stuff, which were guitar pick earrings (Dude, I WANT some!!!) and a necklace made of telephone wires. Pretty cool stuff. “Any other questions?” “Yes, when’s lunch?”

We went to Subway. It was really the first time I’ve ever been to Subway to eat. Ever. Seriously. I got roast beef with American and cheddar cheese on a foot long Italian herbs and cheese bread. Yum. It was so yummy ^ ^. And the sponsor baked us cookies. Chocolate chocolate chip, to be exact. I ate like a bajillion, LOL. Big appetite, small girl. It’s funny how physics work like that.

Next, the landfill. The stinky giant heap of trash. Ewwww. We had to walk the way up (because the majority else wanted to) the road, but soon after, we were all cramping and tired. When we got to the top, which was, needless to say, STINKY (like rotting food, dead animals, and dung mixed together, EXCEPT WORSE!), we snapped a few pics of how the sunflowers growing there contrasted with all the trash and stuff. Then we walked down halfway so we could do the interview. We didn’t use the tripod (for hygienic reasons), so my arm hurt SO much from trying to make it steady. After the interview, we walked down again (so tiring) and we had to put our shoes on plastic bags, because they were so muddy. Drew let me listen to his iTouch with him. Only…he kept stopping a song, then starting another one, because he wanted to show me all these songs on his iTouch. He had like everything!! 207, songs, I think. From Justin Bieber (who sounds like a girl, btw) to Tokio Hotel. From Miley Cyrus (…) to Panic! At the Disco (who are, like, so awesome). He didn’t have any Owl City D:

Seventh hour. I went back to class when we got back, even there was only like 3 minutes left, haha. Ben was like, “LYLY!” when I walked in and everyone stared. Haha….Found out I made 107% on my Lit. test, I’m happy about that. The bell rang and we were dismissed. I was standing next to Aaron while trying to get through the crowd. Tried to talk to him and he’s like, “You’re a late person. No, no, don’t talk to me.” Lol. So, when I’m on the bus, I shout to him while he’s walking with Brandon, “HEY AARON!” “YOU’RE A LATE PERSON!” “WELL, AT LEAST I’M NOT AN EARLY PERSON!” Even though, I’m always early for everything, usually xD. SO, I guess that’s like our little “joke” now xP.

Sorry I didn’t go into detail too much. I would’ve, but TWG logged me out while I was typing this blog, so this is just a retyped, sped up, hurry-let-me-get-done-with-this-RIGHT-now version. xP
