I know a lot of us can.  Why?  ‘Cause all of the Founder’s are gonna have ANOTHER exclusive event to enjoy on HKO.  This time for the holiday that basically defines love:  Valentine’s Day!

Basically, if you’ve been turning in to the updates for the past few weeks, you’d already know some of the  additions that were added for the game:

1.  Improved user interface - movable windows, a resizable chatbox, and a 1024×768 resolution that allows you to see more the area you’re currently at (kinda like how you’d see more of a movie sequence if you chose Widescreen instead of Fullscreen - if you ignored the black bars on the top and bottom of the TV that is.  hehe)  Though I’m more used to the old 800×600 or whatever resolution myself.  But I might still give it a shot.

2.  Keyword chat filter - for censoring certain words (*coughs* cuss words) from being seen by younger players.   Definitely would help with this being an ‘E’ rated game.  Though I hope that some words don’t get censored by mistake:  words that I usually use on here:  like “heck”, “butt”, “gonna”, “gotta”, “doncha” or the like.  It’s one thing to prevent us from seeing certain words that we don’t even want our kids to see, but it’s another to prevent us from expressing ourselves all together, know what I mean?

But here’s some thing that you not have predicted:

REVAMPED FARMING SYSTEM!!!

Now we can not only water our plants, but we can even allow our friends to help us with our harvests.  Definitely good if you know somebody who doesn’t like farming, but would still like to lend a hand, doncha think?

What’s also cool is that we can even choose 1 of 8 farm types.  Mesa tinks  that the picture they showed us on the announcement is just ONE of those farm types.  hehe

I’m a little worried about, however, about some of the other things relating to the farms:

1.  Adjustment of growth times - How exactly are the times gonna be adjusted?  Will we have to wait longer or shorter for the crops to grow?  And if so, how long will it take for them to die?

2. Day cycle for farms -  What’s that supposed to mean?  Will it actually be nighttime at the farms or is it just that our crops will only last a day at a time?  And in either (or even neither) case, will we still be allowed to ‘Pause’ our farms whenever we aren’t use them or waiting for them to grow?  I hope so, ’cause that “Pause” function helped me A LOT during my harvesting time.

Sorry for sounding a little pessimistic about some of these features.  I just thought I needed to get them out.  I’m still glad that we’ll be able to enjoy the farms again.

Needless to say, The Valentines Event will have it’s own batch of themed quests.   Somehow, we’d have to find good ol’ Cupid so that he can bring the love to all of Sanrioland.  And, like before with the Christmas Reunion, the first few who actually finish these quests will really feel the love with some exclusive stuff.  ^_^  But, hopefully, those of us who don’t get to finish first will still get some nice ingame items to wear throughout the event (again like the Christmas Reunion).

What I would also like to see in the Event:

1.  More items ready for the Item Mall - I’m really hoping that they’ll have some more Sanrio characters as hats or whatever ever since I saw girls wearing those cute Hello Kitty hats.  (I couldn’t wear one of them ’cause they were girl’s only.  T_T)   I also like to get one of those pink heart wands.  They definitely reminded me of all of those cute magical girl anime shows like “Sailor Moon” and “Cardcaptor Sakura”.  X3

2. More info on the Guild uniforms will be given - If we don’t get our uniforms right away, then we should at least be given another chance to make money for uniforms for more members of our guilds.  The Sailoria guild (the guild I’m in) was able to make enough for 100 members, but I hope we can make enough for more.  ^_^

3.  The problem with my Medical Mask turning into a Beard will be fixed - Click here for my post on that matter.

4.  The boy’s roarer tops will have something on them - Click here for my post on that matter.

5.  Any other problems with the Item Mall items will be fixed - I forgot to mention that a pair of shoes that I bought at the Mall didn’t show on my ingame character (not my Character Info picture mind you, but my character who walks around the screen), and I ended up walking around with bare feet.  Sorry, no picture on that.  *sweatdrop*

And if any of these events doesn’t get finished, there’s always the Open Beta.  (Whenever the heck that’s gonna be.  hehe)

But anyway, I hope to see all of my fellow Founders again (hehe) when “HKO” comes back on for the Valentine’s Event (February 12, 2009 at 22:00 EST to February 17, 2009 at 23:59 EST). And for everyone else, I really really REALLY hope that the Open Beta will be up as soon as possible so that I can meet all of you too.  ^_^
