Hey, guys.  Sorry for the lack of updates to my blog for the past few weeks ’cause of the game and also ’cause of the holidays.  hehe  I hope everybody had a Happy Holiday.  ^_^  Oh and just in case…

I hope to make some more updates later on.  But in the mean time, I hope everybody will be enjoying themselves in the new year (2009).  ^_^  Let’s hope it’ll be better than 2008.

Hey guys,

By the time you’re reading this, you’ve either downloaded the new Christmas update for HKO or you’re about to download or are downloading it right now, or whatever. *tries to knock some sense into himself*

Well anyway, I hope everybody gets the update and gets to play the game when it comes out.  I’m kinda surprised that they had the update ready to download a few hours in advance.  ‘Cause they said they would have it ready tonight at 10:00 PM EST and I got it at around 7:00 PM EST.  (Thanks bbegirl for letting me know about that.  ^_^)

So to celebrate the occasion, here’s a pretty cute and sweet Sanrio-related video I found on youTube (NOT made by me but by somebody called computerchildren2)  featuring Christmas footage from the anime “Onegai My Melody” (starring…you guessed it, My Melody) being played to an adorable song called “Onegai Christmas”  (hence the title of this post hehe), sung by My Melody herself.  [Don’t worry, the video is practically G-rated.]

I hope this video will warm your hearts enough to enjoy frolicking in the cold winter wonderlands of HKO when we come back.

Yep.  In case you didn’t check your email or the official blog post, the first big news on updates for the new Christmas Reunion are up.

It also looks like my first prediction (the one with lots of snow) is gonna come true.  So just in case, you’d better start bundlin’ up.  [Again, I’m no psychic.  This is just from my knowledge and experience about these things.]

Problem is, I don’t know exactly when the updates will be up.  Either on December 15 at 10:00 PM EST according to this site and my email or December 16 according to this site.  (Sorry I’m kinda confused which to believe.  *sweatdrop*)  But either way, I hope we’ll all be able to get the updates for the game in time for the Reunion.

Hey guys,

Since every Founder is waiting so anxiously for the new Christmas Reunion to begin, and those who haven’t joined Founders are waiting for the Open Beta to start after that (sorry guys. T_T); I decided to make a cute holiday video featuring some of our favorite Sanrio characters.   I hope you’ll like it.

Sorry if this doesn’t work for everyone.  I originally wanted the Sanrio dogs barked in sync to EVERY bark in the song.  But I had to settle for every SERIES of barks.  And I tried to make them sync as close as possible.  I just depends on the speed of your connection and everything.

I also hope nobody is offended by this.  I also thought it bring a few laughs and cuteness to everyone. X3

But anyway, I hope you guys liked it and are filled with some good holiday cheer, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.  (Sorry if you don’t. hehe)

Hope to see my fellow Founders at the Reunion on the 17th.  And I hope to see everyone else at the Open Beta and Official Releases.

I’m really excited about the Christmas event that’s coming to “HKO” in a few days.  I hope there’s gonna be lots of cool stuff to do.  But it would still be pretty cool to meet all of the friends I’ve made in the game again, including my guildies.  ^_^

I even made a few predictions on what MIGHT happen (though I can’t guarantee WILL happen) when we come back:

1. At least some of the areas (including the Christmas areas) will probably be covered with snow (’cause you know a White Christmas is just what the game needs this holiday time).  So if any of you still have your gags (white masks) on when you come back, you should keep ‘em on ’cause they should keep your faces warm while your walking around the new areas.  hehe   (Just kidding.  Only wear ‘em if you want to.)
2. There MIGHT be an event where we’d have to dig up coal for all of the NAUGHTY kids, like   Batz-maru and maybe Kuromi.  *laughs mischievously*  But somebody else (can’t remember who…sorry) thinks that there would be one where we’d have to MAKE gifts for people.  Just like we had to make Birthday Cakes for Kitty’s Birthday party.
3. And last, but certainly NOT least, they’re probably gonna be announcing the date for the Open Beta during the event, so as they say during this time of the year:  “You’d better watch out!”  hehehe

Again, I’m no psychic or even PSYCHO.  >.<  But those are just a few things that I THINK are gonna happen during the Reunion based on my knowledge and experiences in these kinds of things (Christmas and games).  Please don’t hate me if I’m wrong.

Faith’s Thoughts on the Reunion - ‘Nuff said.  Great thoughts though.  ^_^

In case you haven’t heard, I was concerned about the roarer tops in the game.  I thought they looked kinda cute (especially the girl’s tops.)  The only thing that I didn’t like about ‘em is that while the girl’s pink tops have Hello Kitty on ‘em, the boy’s blue tops don’t have ANYTHING on ‘em.  Here’s an example of what I’m talking about with Ripplecloud (who agrees with me on this - just see the link on her name) and Me:

I mean, I think the boys should have something in their tops too, like Purin or Batz-maru.  Or better yet, Dear Daniel.  I mean he IS Kitty’s boyfriend, right?  (Of course, this is all assuming that the boy’s tops can’t have Kitty on ‘em too.  I would like that too.)

Though Ann (from the Sailoria guild) mentioned in an email with me that we should also have the option to customize our clothes and stuff.  Like putting an ‘S’ for “Sailoria” onto the top.  Now THAT would be awesome!

I wouldn’t mind if the boys top can be red either, but I guess one step at a time, right. hehe  Sorry for that.  I just thought I should get that out of my chest too.  Hopefully, the GMs or whoever will be able to fix this problem for the future betas.  ^_^

Sorry for the long delay of Blog Posts.

First off, I wanna congratulate all of those who entered the contests.  Even if you’re like me and didn’t win any of them, you’re still winners for trying.  ^_^

Also, congrats to the everyone who entered the Frightspinners contest.  (Again, sorry for the delay.)  I’m glad that the Sailoria guild’s very own Ripplecloud had placed second for her video.   Arisu and Popuri are also in our guild, but neither of them won anything.  T_T  I feel really bad for Popuri ’cause she only got one vote (just one stinkin’ vote) for her video while all of the others got at least 11.  (I voted for Arisu’s by the way.)  It may not have been the best video, but it was still pretty good.  In fact, all of them were.   (Sorry I don’t mean to say anything bad.  I just felt like I should get that out of my chest.)  [Click here for the results to see what the heck I’m talking about.]

Personally, It would’ve been awesome if the finalists who didn’t win still got a consolation prize for their hard work (like an exclusive ingame item), don’t ya think?  They deserved it.  Oh well, maybe next time.  V.V *sighs*
