Typhoon Games has cooperated with Sanrio to launch this first-ever online game for Hello Kitty’s supporting fans on her 30th anniversary. Hello Kitty Online World uniquely combined this lovable cartoon character with the role-playing element, so that in the fantasy world consists of three imaginary kingdoms, player can utilize his/her personal skills and culture, to develop the countries and to accomplish the various missions. The key element that differentiates the Hello Kitty Online World from other MMORPG is that it promotes friendship and amicable communication between players. Players can choose from 15 occupations (including teacher, trader, doctor and actor) — and through different missions and jobs, these characters will continue to raise the capacity of a kingdom, shape its development, and change its fate.

Add Hello Kitty and the cast of Sanrio characters to the virtual world and massively multiplayer online role-playing (MMORPG) game phenomenon.

Sanrio Digital and Typhoon Games announced the birth of Hello Kitty Online this week, which since Wednesday has attracted 30,000 people interested in testing the site.

As in other virtual worlds, users create avatars and can go about the cartoon world slaying monsters — though we always thought Hello Kitty was such a nice, peaceful character, albeit with no mouth — as well as building a home, raising pets and tending a farm.

Besides Hello Kitty, the world also features My Melody, Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, Pochacco and others.
