REBORN! (I’m watching this show!)
The Reborn! story revolves around a boy named Tsunayoshi “Tsuna” Sawada, who is chosen to become the Vongola Family’s boss due to him being the great-great-great grandson of the first Vongola boss, who had moved to Japan from Italy during his time. Also, the other candidates for the position of the head of the Vongola Family died. For these reasons, Tsuna is the only remaining heir. As such, Timoteo a.k.a. “Vongola IX”, the current head of the family, sends Reborn, an infant hitman from Italy, to train Tsuna. Tsuna then unwillingly undergoes training from Reborn. Reborn’s main method of teaching Tsuna is the “Dying Will Bullet”, which will make the person be “reborn” with a stronger self intent on fulfilling his dying will. Through his experiences, Tsuna unconsciously becomes stronger and more confident, which ultimately makes him better suited as the Vongola Family’s boss despite continuing to reject his Mafia inheritance. He also starts making several friendship such as his crush Kyoko Sasagawa.

SHUGO CHARA

The heroine of the story, Amu Hinamori, is a student at Seiyo Elementary.^[1] At first glance, her classmates refer her “cool and spicy” and rumors speculate about her personal life. However, her real personality is that of a very shy girl who has trouble showing her true personality. One night, Amu wishes for the courage to show her “would-be” self, and the next morning finds three brightly colored eggs—red, blue, and green—in her bed. At first, she is alarmed, but realizes she must have really wished to change. These eggs hatch into three Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, and Su. The Guardian Characters aid Amu in discovering who she truly is and help fulfill Amu’s dreams. Amu’s life becomes much more complex as she struggles to deal with her “would-be” selves and the Seiyo Elementary’s Guardians, who recruit Amu as the Joker to search for X Eggs and X Characters, the corrupted forms of peoples’ dreams.

Meanwhile, the Easter Company is extracting people’s eggs in search of a special egg called the Embryo. The Embryo “Hopes and dreams of mankind” is believed to grant any wish to the one who possesses it. However, the process creates X Eggs and X Characters. It is discribes as a white egg with a heart and yellow wings.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles(remake of cardcaptor sakura)

Before the beginning of the storyline, Syaoran, the son of “Syaoran” and “Sakura”, is sent into the shop of the Dimensional Witch, Yūko, by his parents because of a vision his mother had seen. Yūko sends him to Clow Country (The Country of the Eternal Tower) for seven days, where he arrives seven days before the birthday of that dimension’s Sakura who looks like a younger version of his mother. Over the seven days, the two begin to fall in love with each other.

The UMD-free PlayStation Portable 2 is indeed real and could hit as early as this fall, David Perry, chief creative officer at Acclaim, told Kotaku today.

“I spoke to a developer who is working on it right now,” he said. “I know this developer is already working on it, so that means they have a prototype. That would sound like a fall release to me.”

Perry said he is excited about the news.

“I’ve been pounding on Sony for a long time to make the PlayStation Portable relevant and not to let Apple stroll away with the portable game market,” he said. “Look at what Apple is doing now. Why are so many investors investing in Apple game development? Trying to pitch a PSP game to investors right now is brutal.”

The idea of a UMD-free PlayStation Portable begs the question of how games will be loaded onto the device.

Perry believe it will be done through digital downloads and direct connect to a computer.

The ultimate goal, he says, is for the PSP to go 100 percent digital. Not only would that allow Sony to have a more direct connection with their customers and get a larger piece of the sales pie, it would essentially kill the used game sales market.

As a stopgap to keep retailers like GameStop interested in selling the PlayStation Portable 2, which they make little to no money on, Perry thinks that Sony would at least initially sell games for the device on Memory Sticks, as they currently do with some movies, or with pre-paid cards.

As for backwards compatibility, it stands to reason, Perry says, that all current PSP titles would show up on PlayStation’s online store.

While Perry insists that the PSP2 is real, and already been developed for, a lot of the details about distribution and release are more speculative on his part.

It does make sense that games will one day go digital only, it seems inevitable. But is now too soon for something like the PSP?
