Lately, I’ve been really interested in buying a Fisheye2. What? A fish eye? No no. It’s not what you think it is. It’s a camera! :3 I’ve been researching about Lomography after I saw Maki’s camera and photos.

And I found out that “Lomography is the commercial trademark of Lomographische AG, Austria for products and services related to photography. The name is inspired by the former state-run optics manufacturer LOMO PLC of St. Petersburg, Russia. LOMO PLC created and produced the 35 mm LOMO LC-A Compact Automat camera - which became the centerpiece of Lomography’s marketing and sales activities.”
What’s makes it exciting and fun is that “tt emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, ‘happy accidents,’ and alternative film processing are often considered part of the ‘Lomographic Technique.”‘ (Wikipedia)
Look at a sample of the Fisheye..Isn’t it wonderful?? :3

Now I’m torn on what to buy because I was also planning on saving up for a Canon 400D. Anyway, hmm, why can’t I have both, right? ![]()

Wow, people seem to love the Lomo Fisheye! I’ve got a friend who has this one already, and another one who is saving up for her own!
