So I have decided not to take summer classes, despite having to work as registrationa assistant in AS 101 for the next Tuesday to Friday. I guess that’ll be better since I haven’t got anything to do here at home for now. I also get to hang out with the other RAs and actually “go to school without studying.” :)

Yesterday I bought books at StarMall Shaw Blvd. I got them for just 99 pesos for 2 books. Nice eh? I wouldn’t have thought that I would be able to find such good stuff there.

  1. That’s a lot of books! I accumulated a pile of unread books over the years. :P

  2. A friend of my said that there’s an “outlet” book store at WalterMart in Makati! All are said to be books from Fully Booked/Powerbooks (not sure).

  3. My sister and I love second-hand book stores, just because that’s where you can get great finds!:D Are these used, or brand-new?

  4. @fairlady: yeah! actually i have some more here.. but i bought them because they’re cheap!!

    @polkadotrn: oooh:) hmm.. i’ll see if i can check that out

    @shadowcat: they’re brand-new… :)

  5. The outlet store in Waltermart I believe is National Bookstore. That’s where they stash all of the books published for a certain time period.

  6. fairlady-z: AAAHHH…. i hope those books are not from the 70s or 80s. hahah! I really want to go there but haven’t had the chance to :( is it worth it, you think?

  7. Books from years 2003-2006 I think. I hope it’s not like the POB (Previously Owned Books) section they have in National Quezon Avenue though, now those are like from the 80s! Hahaha! But I did get some pretty recent ones at Quezon Ave. Takes a lot of time to really browse in that small section.

    Just think of it as an adventure when you’re going to visit. Can’t go wrong with books. :P

  8. Oops sorry, I read your posts from top down. So you chose not to take summer c-l-a-s-s-e-s. HeHe. Oh, but you were saying that you dont know whatelse to do other than watching Anime.

    A good break from studies sounds good also. :)

  9. There’s one in Glorieta too! Or was that Greenbelt! :c I can never tell!
