Joseph Pascual was amazed that I commuted from Fairview (house) to Sto. Domingo Church. It was just all so sudden; Sean asked me if I can go with them to Quiapo, because Joseph was getting a new lens. Why not? I showered, then took an FX taxi to Biak-na-Bato, where they would fetch me.

It turned out that they were already there waiting for me. On the way, Joseph’s driver had to leak, and we saw Burger King. Since Sean and Pascual haven’t eaten there for a long time now, we passed by to buy some food.

When we got to Plaza Miranda, Moki, Joseph’s boyfriend was already there waiting. (sorry for being late..it wasn’t all my fault, we stopped by BK to buy food you know.. haha). We went to Hidalgo St., where all of the camera/film/photography shops are. We canvassed along the strip of shops (Well actually we went to just 3 stores, I think..) until we got to 24K Foto.

Funny, the owner thought at first that we were foreigners, then she thought we were from La Salle. But no. Iskolar ng Bayan, with pride! She gave Joseph a good bargain. Too bad they weren’t accepting credit, so Joseph has to go back some other time to buy the Sigma lens.

It was fun, really…to just be out there around Quiapo, with them guys, not worrying about things…with all the busyness around.

I ended up commuting back to Biak-na-Bato, while Joseph, Moki and Sean went to the Recto Station to go home. I think they went to Gateway first to have merienda though. It was fun, thanks Sean for inviting me. Although you kinda said that you “needed protection”? Haha! From theives, I guess? I dunno..but still it was all good.

Harrell, Harroun, Madie and Hazel fetched me at Bellevue to go to Garrick’s. Attended the mass. Tiff, Kester, Pi, Wu, and Austin were there too. Mr. Sebs. Gar’s batchmates from UP were there too. Chris..go Chris! We’re here for you. :D

Passed by BK (again o.o) before going home - with Harrell, Harroun, Tiff, Madie, Hazel and Austin. Had dinner; actually take out since my parents were already there fetching me.

I wish I visited you before…but circumstances didn’t allow it.
I wish I texted you, to let you know that we’re here for you,
rooting for you, and praying that you would get well soon.
But it’s now too late for that…you’ve passed on; you’ve
gone from this wicked world on to God’s Kingdom.
But I guess that’s better. You are now with Him.
I thank the Lord for true friends like Chris,
whom in the darkest hours, stayed
with you, cheered you, and told
you stories, until the end. I
hope through him, we’ve
brought joy and peace
to you, one way
or another.
RIP.

I had practice today with the CSA Volleyball Team (Sean, Kirby, Wesley, Harroun, Harrell, Joan, Jayne, Candice, Camille, Melissa, and birthday girl Yvet). Good luck to us and to all the teams of CSA! :)

After resting for quite some time, I had this urge to cook. So I looked at what’s in the kitchen, and found one bottle of aligue (crab fat), some pasta noodles, and a can of chopped tomatoes. What happened after? Well..here’s what happened:

I had lunch with my family at Jay-J’s Chicken Inasal along Julia Vargas Ave. corner Meralco Ave. after church last Sunday. My dad wanted to try out the place, so we ended up there coming from Victory, Fort.

Batchoy (85.00 pesos)

Inihaw na Hita (Grilled Chicken Thigh) (79.50 pesos each)

Inihaw na Pusit (Grilled Squid) (65 pesos/100 grams)

Chocolate Bliss ala mode (95.00 pesos)

The food was not that good for me. The batchoy was just okay. The pusit was just like any other inihaw na pusit. The inihaw na hita was good, but I’ve tasted better.

On the brighter side, dessert was great! The Chocolate Bliss was fun actually. I love how the chocolate and the vanilla ice cream mix together. The chocolate’s rich; it was all good. Not to mention, they gave free Turon (fried banana in wraps), which is a house specialty. Perfect as well. I say it would be great with vanilla ice cream on top as well. :P

Just try their dessert. You won’t miss anything if you don’t eat there. :P

Haven’t I had enough of this mall? Really was tired from all that walking all day yesterday. Well, I think I’m not going there any time soon..

Had our meeting at the food court in Landmark. Ariel, Alvene, Ainna, Clea, Chris Joyce and me were present to discuss induction details. Just a little more, and you guys will be full-fledged members..muwhahaha! See you October 18.

It was Chris’ first time, so had to roam around again. We ended up at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for dessert and some coffee. I had the White Chocolate Dream (hot). I love it! It wasn’t that sweet compared to Starbucks. You can taste the kick to it.

We went with Chris to Toys R Us and Hobbes to buy Garrick a board game. Go GAY! :)

I had lunch today with Uncle Peter, who’s back from ShangHai (but will go back this Sunday), at Cabalen in Trinoma, QC. Kog joined us. We had dessert at Toast Box after. :) Thanks for the Pasalubong from India! ;)

Since the people whom I was supposedly going with to watch Click Five backed out, I had the chance to roam around and practically memorize all the shops at Trinoma. I had this chance to follow Click Five and their fans and observe from afar.

p1010597.jpg

The fans were REALLY CRAZY. They’re like lions ever ready to devour a gazelle! Click Five arrived at around 5pm, they played 2 songs to test the sounds. The people began shouting wild.

Around more or less an hour later, they emerged at Human, a clothing store, which is a sponsor of the event. The store was closed down for them. And the fans were outside, yelling, jumping, taking pictures at their every move.

p1010598.jpg

There were around 10 security guards or more guarding them. What more, when they went to the Bench Fix Salon near Human, the girls were going crazy, running and screaming around like wild chimpanzees O_O (ouch, my ears!)

Alas, they started at exactly 7pm, everyone was shouting and cheering eagerly for the band. It was a usual mall show, the sounds were not that good, but I think they’ve pulled it! They’re good, actually.

Not that long ago after the UP Administration posted the memorandum on the waiting shed just outside PHAN, Psych Building, we see it burned, and “smoked”.
