Miss Philippines!

Miss Philippines was proclaimed Miss Photogenic out of 77 wonderful ladies in the ongoing Miss Universe 2007 pageant.

Ms. Anna Theresa Licaros of the University of the Philippines, College of Law has proven to have captivated more than millions of audience around the world, in an internet voting that happened in NBC’s Site.

And as Anna says, “Be the best by choice! achieving and being the best is always the result of a conscious decision, a commitment to excellence.”

The Philippines, throughout the history of Miss Universe Pageant has 2 Miss Universe titles. Miss Universe 1969, Gloria Diaz and Miss Universe 1973, Margarita Moran.

    Asians ruled this year! Miss Japan, Miss Philippines, Miss China, and Miss Korea! :D

    I beg to disagree with the Pinoy online voting factor as to why Tere Licaros won. Korea has more internet users compared to the Philippines. See http://www.aneki.com/internet.html. Iba lang talaga siya.

    I believe Tere Licaros won the Miss Photogenic award because she’s the only one who posed with finnesse and poise. If you’d see the other candidates’ photos, especially in the swimsuit category, grabe, mukha sila lahat nagpose for Playboy.

    Hmm…actually Filipinos are somewhat mixed because of 300 years of Spanish colonialization, plus Japanese, plus American occupation…then Asian migrants and those stuff… so… there.. lol
