Summa Cum Laude

Last Tuesday, April 17, I went with some CSA friends to try out Xavier Cafe. Here are some pics:

I had an early lunch at the Loyola House in Ateneo today. Brother Jhaw, S.J. cooked a special…100% fat…Pasta Aligue (crab fat) XD (Yes, I know, it’s just for today.. So don’t worry.. ) It is so delicioso!

I brought some Devils Food Cake from Chocolate Kiss (UP Diliman), Nicholas brought some beef steak from Ateneo and Stevenson brought a Chemistry book

Despite the “flaming” heat of this summer, the company of a former adviser and some high school friends made everything somewhat cozy and perfect.

After Ateneo, I went back to UP in time for my 1:00pm Socio11 class. Ma’am Anna was a lot different from the prof I used to have last semester at Socio10. (laughs) She’s putting law practices (re: recitation) and law jargon in our lesson/ discussions. I hope it turns out for the better.

Later this afternoon, I had Ultimate Frisbee with Tim, Cokie, Chris Ng, and other classmates in PE. Tossing. Catching. Practicing the backhand throw. *Oh, I just love that I could play again!* It has been more or less a year now since I last played.

After a successful iBlog3 Summit held at the UP Econ Auditorium last April 13 and 14 (Friday-Saturday) and a very tiring Registration Process all of us went through in UP Diliman (where I was a Registration Assistant ), it’s back to UP Diliman campus again for the start of summer classes.

Monday mornings are usually draining (for some weird reason). You just can’t have enough sleep *well, for me at least*

But this Monday morning is speacial. This is the first day of my first summer class of my first ever summer in U.P. (woah, lots of firsts there)

I had Professor Rene O. Villanueva for my Malikhaing Pagsulat 10* (Creative Writing 10 in Filipino) How cool is that!? (meeting one of the “gods” in Philippine Literature is so awesome, yeah?)

Though some people say that he is very moody or worse…”mad”, I would still have him as a professor. I think he’s okay…at least, so far.

*GOOD LUCK to me!* I hope I do survive MPs10*

Inspired by the iBlog3 Summit held at the Econ Auditorium at the University of the Philippines Diliman yesterday and today and by my work in Sanriotown, I immediately thought of coming up with this Hello Kitty Blog (powered by Word Press) which will explore and feature people, their homes, and their own stories.

Filipinos across the 7,107 islands of the Philippine Archipelago and all over the world, with one encapsulating theme ~ Hello Kitty.

Fact: Hello Kitty can be found in most if not 99.9% of Filipino household.

Reason: Every house that I went to has a Hello Kitty (may it be just a simple sticker, to a stuff toy, or to gadgets they own)

My Experiment: I will be launching a Blog Site which will explore my hypothesis/ theory/ fact.
