I know that I’ve majorly neglected blogging, but I’ve been held up with finals, designing, life, and just plain laziness. After you stop something, it’s hard to get back into the swing of things.

BUT I am here for now (we’ll see how long this lasts, hm?). So going off my title, HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND PEARL-Y IN THIS WORLD. Z knows what I’m talking about because I just had a huge OMG!moment to him, but I have to rant more. It was just SO freakin’ fantastic and wonderful that I have to blow up somewhere. Facebook wasn’t satisfying enough and I can’t hold this in.

Not the Kitty I would’ve liked to receive (Figures, karma always gets me), but she’s cute nonetheless and the envelope she came in was very purty. Kaito got the Jamaican one so I counted my blessings. :’)  That means Ken or the other non-guildies got the ones I wanted. Poop. ):

I actually nicknamed her “The Commy Kitty” >.> It is simply a joke and is not meant to offend anyone; if it does, I sincerely apologize.

I also received a package from one of my online bffs on Friday, but didn’t get to pick it up ’til this morning. She sent me a Nemo and Mushi + a letter (: *was too lazy to take pictures of them*

And is anyone else’s WordPress (blog feature thing) driving them crazy? I don’t know what’s up, but every time I uploaded a picture, it wouldn’t reload the page. I had to press the Blog Beta button at the top just to go back to continue writing my entry.  Blah!

3 new blog themes! And I swear the LTS theme was made for Starrfire7. I wasn’t planning on updating until I got my story up, but… The themes called for it.

Planning a story starring our very own GMs coming soooon, even featuring my own stickish art. :’) No idea what it’ll be about or how long it will be, but it’s lingering in my mind - right next to all the finals, papers and other work I have. Whoohoo!

So, I love getting mail - irl (5 packages incoming!) and electronically. And recently, a certain Misfit emailed me an altered picture of Zel in a teapot. He’s not exactly floating, but use your imagination and it’ll definitely be a flying saucer. Since Azog beat me to it, I just drew my own. ;D

I honestly think Zel’s teapot is the equivalent of a cutesy pretty princess dress. It’s quite lovely. (:

Lately, I’ve been on Photoshop for hours - one would think that after days of doing the same thing over & over, I’d be PS’d out.. The following banner is evidence against that. -_- Twas out of fun & boredom, yay! I’ll probably stick this in my forum signature; nothing else to do with it. *shrug* Inspired by this girl.

I never thought I’d see the day because I haven’t written anything with a ‘theme’ (like Starrfire7 and her LTS craze, etc. ), just random stuffs that happen to me. I was even thinking about starting a story about the GMs just to get a chance at least. x)

And figures Z would get a mention. ;P We’re getting pretty infamous, alien!

Moving on… Received the email to send in my name and address yesterday. Sadly, we don’t get to choose which plushie we want so fingers crossed that I get either of the 2 I want. 20% chance.

Also just a plug for a girl whom I don’t know, but has epic baking skills. VOTE FOR DAWN! No offense to the other entries, but this cake really takes the cake; hands down.

Okay, seriously?! This is the THIRD time that I’ve had to write this post. Stop breaking on me, darn it! >:O I hate when this happens. I always write super long things then my posts freaking poof. -_-

Anyway, hooray, I actually won third place! I never win things, but then again, there was Blog For Thought.. And last week, I won a handmade bag. Nevertheless, congrats to my fellow guildies/infamous robots, Kenman and Kaito, as well as the other winners. Yay for plushies!

And btw, I am NOT a robot. Not hardcore enough to be one. xD

The Oscars were on tonight and Hugh Jackman did an okay job. It wasn’t anything stellar overall (fashion included, sadly). I’ve watched every awards season for years (it’s my religious thing) - there were better ones in the past. :/ The only thing I really liked were the intros from previous winners for the Best Actor/Actress categories - they were lovely and so heartfelt.

The HKO Happy Hearts Reunion is finally upon us and it’s about time, honestly.

So like I said before, I’ve been online shopping. Besides eBay, I finally bought some things (Only 2!) on Etsy. If you’ve never been on there, you are amazingly deprived. It is like the homemade crafts version of eBay, minus the auction part. People who craft or design things for a living or as a hobby, post their items on here for sale and you can buy whatever you want. From jewelry to wedding dresses to house decor, it’s pretty awesome.

And I finally gave in. I have no self-control. It’s pathetic, really. Oh, Hello Friend is this little shop that has adorable items up for sale. I bought a necklace and the packaging she ships her products in is too cute and so original.

 

 

And last, but not least - a pretty old thing I received last month. I signed up to participate in Free People’s Art of Giving Crafts Swap. You had to basically create something winter-y to send to your partner by New Year’s.  Here is what my lovely partner sent me:

 There was also a dress/tunic thing, but I didn’t feel like getting it out. x) She knit it all!

I luff mail. Mail is exciting to receive - except when it’s bills. ;D ANYWAY, SEE EVERYONE ON HKO TONIGHT!! *cheers*

And I eat EVERYTHING.

I seriously mean it. She is a 6-month old (so still puppyish) part German Shepherd and something else mix. My roommate adopted her on a whim from a pet store that found her. She kind of has a tail and loves to eat and lick everything.

She licks my jeans. She also eats lint, the sticker stuff on her toys and almost the styrofoam on my floor. But she loves fetch and unfortunately for her, is stuck inside all day except for when she goes on her walks to pee/poo. Our apartment doesn’t allow pets, but she was here for the past week until my roommate takes her home today.

Oh, and these were all taken with my webcam so forgive the poor quality. My sister hijacked my camera. -_-

I’ma miss her. ):

Edit: My roommate/her owner stuffed her into a luggage bag and put a jacket over her head to sneak her downstairs. :’) She came back and goes, “There was an elevator full of people and I’m thinking, “Oh crap.” Then this guy goes, “Well, that’s inconspicuous.” And I look over and her [Sadie’s] whole backside is hanging out.”
