Malaysians, beware: your mobile phones are about to be overloaded by cute.

Which is a good thing, of course. Apparently, Hello Kitty and Friends has launched a mobile WAP portal in conjunction with Maxis Communications Bhd, and is ready to serve the 1.8 million-strong 3G users of Malaysia.

I don’t know what material this’ll be including, though. I just found this interesting because it features a picture of Hello Kitty during a contract-signing event. I mean, I know she’s an ambassador and all, but there’s always something magical about seeing that big ol’ cat at a contract signing.
