I have been very impressed with Maybelline’s new FitMe line of makeup. I have only tried the FitMe Foundation and FitMe Powder so far, but I hope to try the FitMe Blush, FitMe Bronzer, and FitMe Concealer soon.

There are many different shades from very light to very dark so I think they’ve got about every skin tone covered. I have fair-medium tan skin, so I tried the 110 Porcelain shade in both the foundation and powder. I really like the foundation because it covers any imperfections yet it feels light and airy. This foundation also has an SPF of 18 which is a plus. It doesn’t dry out skin or look cakey either. It has more of a sheer coverage than the mousse foundations but it’s not too runny either. You get quite a bit too because it comes in a nice glass tube that is about the size of 4 lipsticks held together. I really like it. I’ve had it about a month and it will probably last another 4 or 5 months. Well worth the money. I think I paid about $6.49 or something for it.  

The powder comes in a nice two-tier case. The lid is see through. The top tier has the powder in a round flat container. The bottom tier holds a thin, powder puff. The powder, like the foundation, smooths the appearance of the skin in a sheer way. It helps with shine and finishes off the overall look. I love it. I think it will probably last about 4 to 5 months as well. I do use both the foundation and powder daily but you don’t need that much so it should last a while.

The FitMe collection also offers concealer, blush, and bronzer. I haven’t tried them yet but hope to soon. Maybelline also has a neat collection of lipgloss and lipstick: Colorsensational. I have tried the Maybelline Colorsensational Lipgloss and am looking forward to trying the Maybelline Colorsensational Pearls Lipstick. The gloss smells good and has a nice shine to it.
