We got the Wii game Animal Crossing: City Folk for Christmas last year and it is SO much fun! You can create up to 4 characters and you build your town. You start out working for the store owner Tom Nook, a raccoon. You then have to pick fruit, plant trees and flowers, fish, etc. To make money to buy things and pay off your house. It starts out small and gets bigger every time you pay it off. You can catch bugs and fish to sell, keep as a pet, or turn into the museum director, which is an owl. You can also dig up star looking things that have a fossil, gyroid, or pitfall seed underneath. The fossils must be taken to the museum to be classified and then you can donate it to the museum, keep it in your house, or sell it. It’s a good idea to give all of the first fossils, bugs, fish, etc that you find to the museum because this fills your museum’s collection. You can get paintings from the store or in the city to fill that section of the museum. Those are harder to find and can sometimes be fakes and the museum will not accept them. The items in the store and Redd’s in the city changes often. The stuff in the fancy store in the city changes every few months and the clothes and accessories in town at the Able Sisters’ Store changes daily. You can get free items in the lost and found, in the recycle bin, and from neighbors. There’s so much more to say about this game, but this is getting very long. The point is we love this game it’s fun and cute and has wi-fi and communities that you can join at http://www.animalcrossingcommunity.com and play with other people. You have to be careful who you play with though because they can vandalize your town. Have fun! Have a kawaii day! :D

Today’s “Numi Num of the Day” is…Surprise Sushi! Today’s “Daily Letter” is the letter “T”! Our “T” words are “turtles”, “time”, “truth”, and “travel”!

We chose “turtles” because we think they are cute and amazing! It’s cool how sea “turtles” are born alone on a beach and then hatch and find their way back to the ocean without their parents. It’s also cool how both land and sea “turtles” live to be at least 100 or older.

We chose “time” because it’s about the only thing that you can either have too much of or too little and everyone uses it differently. “Time” never stops which is neat and bad at the same “time”. Some moments people wish could last forever and some moments can’t be over fast enough.

We chose “truth” because we think everyone should always tell the truth and not lie about things. It makes everything run smoother and decreases the intensity of a situation rather than fibbing until it gets so outrageous that when the “truth” is revealed someone gets hurt.

We chose “travel” because we like to “travel” if it’s to somewhere we want to go and ideal traveling methods. There’s so much to see than just one small corner of the world. If you have the time and money to “travel”, you should definitely do it and take lots of pictures.

Post your “T” words below. Have a kawaii day! :D

Today’s “Kawaii Thought of the Day” is about…Bubbles! Bubbles are so much fun! Isn’t it neat how you can take some soapy bubble mixture and dip a small or large shaped wand into it and just blow some air into it and…wallah…bubbles floating everywhere! They are really fun and kids and adults love them! There are so many neat bubble wands and bubble machines that it’s not hard to have an entire bubble day! Bubbles are clean, pretty, and easy to make! Get some bubbles today at the dollar store and have fun! Have a kawaii day! :D

Today’s “Kawaii Word of the Day” is…”Midder”! “Midder” is another word for mirror! Call your mirror a “midder” today! Have a kawaii day! :D

Yesterday’s “Kawaii Thought of the Day” was about…Blue-Ray Discs! Blue-Ray discs are pretty neat and all but it’s kinda frustrating when you have bought many movies on DVD and then the companies come out with a new type of disc that you have to buy. Also, we bought a few Blue-Ray discs to watch on our PS2 and then it tore up so now we have to get a Blue-Ray player just to watch about 8 Blue-Ray discs. How annoying. Oh well. We just wish there would be an easier way to watch movies on one type of disc and one type of player. It’s neat that there are discs that can hold a lot of info and stuff just frustrating sometimes. We apologize because this thought is more like a rant. Have a kawaii day! :D
