Yesterday’s “Kawaii Thought of the Day” was about…lip gloss! We were looking through our stuff the other day and found like 20 lip glosses! It seems like every time we go somewhere there is always a new lip gloss or chapstick that has some cool design or case or smell that we just have to have. Lip gloss is so much fun to collect and wear. It keeps your lips hydrated, pretty, and in some cases protected from sun burn. It can also add some color to your keychain, backpack, purse, pocket, or wherever you carry it. They make some cool ones that go on your finger like a ring, your neck like a necklace, keychain ones, and regular ones. They make food shaped ones, little people shaped ones, plain ones, fancy ones, and of course Sanrio ones! We recently got some that look like popsicles from an outlet candy store. We’ll post pics later this week. Do you collect lip gloss or some other makeup accessory like we collect lip gloss? We love all makeup but lip gloss is truly our passion! Have a kawaii day!
Yesterday’s “Numi Num of the Day” was…Blueberry Cobbler! We love our Granny and Mamaw’s fruit cobblers! Nothing like a homemade blueberry, cherry, raspberry, blackberry, peach, strawberry, or apple cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top! This recipe is for blueberry cobbler and it is a good recipe. If you want a really fast cobbler recipe…take two Pillsbury pie crusts and put one down in a buttered pan, put your fruit on top of that piece, then put your other pie crust on top and bake. Hope you enjoy! Have a kawaii day!
Ingredients:
1-cup flour
1-cup sugar
1-cup milk
2-cup Blueberries, you can add more if you like
Buttered baking pan
Directions:
1) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. You can do this before you begin making the cobbler so that your oven is hot, ready and waiting for you when you are ready for baking the cobbler.
2) Mix flour, sugar, milk together. Do this by first adding the dry ingredients of flour and sugar, mix these together well and then add the milk. Stir or mix until fully blended to eliminate any lumps.
3) Pour this mixture into your buttered pan.
4) Pour the Blueberries on top of the mix in the pan, the blueberries will sink down into the batter.
5) Bake in your preheated oven of 350 degrees for 45 minutes depending on the individual heating level of your oven.
Yesterday’s “Daily Letter” was the letter “O”! Our “O” words were “ocean”, “orchid”, “otter”, and “oasis”!
We chose “ocean” because it makes up 3/4 of our earth and is beautiful and has amazing creatures in it.
We chose “orchid” because “orchids” are very pretty flowers and “orchid” is a unique name.
We chose “otter” because they are cute and great swimmers. We love to swim.
We chose “oasis” because we like paradise type places and beautiful, peaceful getaways.
Post your “O” words below. Have a kawaii day!
Yesterday’s “Kawaii Word of the Day” was…soki! “Soki” is pronounced like “so” and “key”. “Soki” is a word used to describe something you don’t really understand. For instance, if you are walking down the street and see someone dancing around in a circle and talking to themselves, you could say quietly to yourself, “soki, soki” and shake your head. Well, you may not do that but it is fun to say and better to say than “crazy” or “dumb” or “stupid”. Have a kawaii day! ![]()
Here’s some pics of our Cinnamoroll cell phone case. It is light blue and white checkered with a blue leather wrist strap and an embroidered Cinnamoroll picture on the front. The name Cinnamoroll is sewn around the case as well. There is a brown button snap on a blue leather strap that goes across the case.
Here are some pics of the Tokidoki Mints we got at Sephora the other day. They come in two styles but they are both peppermint flavored mints. There is a small mirror in the place where the mints come out of a small hole. Very cute. We are keeping the tins. We ate all of the mints or we would show them too.
This is our Pandapple Backpack! It has an orange and white polka dot interior and adjustable red straps with silver rings. The front has a velcro pocket lined with blue and white flowers and a big zip compartment. The back has a small zippered pocket in between the straps. It’s pretty small but still big enough to hold some books or clothes, a wallet, and a phone. It’s great for day trips or running to the store. One of our favorites!
Got this Tokidoki Travel Makeup/Toiletries Bag a few months ago and absolutely love it! It velcros closed and has a handle on top and a hanger type hook that folds out to hang it on the towel rack. So handy! It has two zipper compartments, two mesh pockets, a mirror, and one of the compartments velcros off. Love it love it! It was about $38.00 at Sephora.
