Wonder why they didn’t choose to call it WENS. Or SNEW. Or EWNS.

The letter ‘w’ is the only letter in the alphabet that doesn’t have one syllable, it has three: "Dou-bleyoo".
Now that’s something I never thought about: a character with a pronunciation that is spelled with more letters than what it’s actual spelling is.
