I’ll be honest: I’m not really a fan of Joaquin Phoenix, but I just want to know what the heck happened to him that made him think he could go and drop his film career and be R&B performer?

Just how bad were the people back then?
In 1984, the newspaper "El Dorado Journal" announced a Daylight Saving Time Contest to see who would save the most daylight. It was meant to be an April Fools’ joke, but (surprise, surprise) some people took it seriously.
Wonder what the grand prize was. The moon?
Apparently, panthers have more in common with leopards than you think. If you look closely at one, you’ll notice that they actually have spots as well.
That is, if you can look closely at one in the first place.
You’ll usually see a bunch of junk on the Internet these days, but you’ll occasionally stumble upon treasures, and this is one of them. It tells of the story of two six-year old boys, both having rare birth defects, who were put in the same kindergarten classroom and ended up being best friends, practically inseparable. You have to read the full article to appreciate the beauty in their friendship, especially because their actions prove that they’re wiser than their age.
