Apparently, an air-powered car that has been invented by a Guy Negre, is being planned to be marketed to the public starting on 2011.

To run, the car just needs air and maybe some salad oil, alcohol, or a bit of gasoline. Actually, the vehicle isn’t that picky about fuel: gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, vegetable oil… These are only some of the kinds of fuel you can use with these. It’s much like the electric car, in that it has to be plugged in (the motor compresses air when it does).
