Vincent Van Gogh might be known as the artist extraordinaire now, but in his time, he didn’t enjoy commercial success. In fact, he only officially sold one painting, "The Red Vineyard."

Longest Ride

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

In Delft University, Netherlands, members of Gezelschap Leeghwater, the mechanical engineering students’ association created the longest true bicycle - which was 28.1 m (92 ft 2 in). The bicycle was ridden for a distance in excess of 100 m on December 11, 2002.

I don’t even know how to ride a bike *shamefaced*, let alone get on one that’s practically a hundred feet long.

Wrong Animal Name Choice?

Apparently, research on pigs led to the development of the CAT scan.

Shouldn’t it have been called PIG Scan then? They could come up with a cool acronym too, like Photography of Internal Goodies, or Pictures of Inside Gems? I don’t really know.@_@
