Smart Pops

To make Pop Rocks, the hot sugar mixture is allowed to mix with carbon dioxide gas at about 600psi. The carbon dioxide gas forms tiny, 600psi bubbles in the candy. When you put the candy in your mouth, it melts and releases the bubbles. What you are hearing and feeling is the 600psi carbon dioxide gas being released from each bubble.

How lucky can you get? Nature not only blessed them the chance to move at their own pace (or crawl, or whatever it is that you call their actions), but they can also snooze whenever they want, however long they want it. Maybe they should’ve been the ones named “sloth” instead.

It’s All in the Pants

Every year 4 people in the UK die putting their trousers on.

If they were wearing this pair of pants, I’d almost be able to understand it. Whichever way you look at it, though, it’s not something that you’d want to see on your obituary. “Here lieth Ted, whose pants tangled up with the bed.”
