Try This!
I dare you to do these two things (don’t worry, it doesn’t require sacrifice of life or limb :P):
1. Spread your fingers (whichever hand works) on a flat surface. Next, bend the middle finger like this:
Got it so far? Next, lift your thumb. Now, your pinkie. Now, your pointer. Still good? Now, try lifting your ring finger. Were you able to do it?
2. Sit on a nice, comfortable chair. Now, lift your right foot and start making clockwise circles. While doing that, draw the number “6″ with your right hand. Is your foot still moving in the right direction?
If you were able to do both, I salute you! You’re part of a small percentage of people who can actually do these tricks!
I don’t have any explanation for the rotating thing, but I found one for the paralyzed finger trick:
With the paralyzed finger, it’s because all of your fingers actually have independent tendons save for two. That’s right: the middle and ring fingers’ tendons are connected, which prevents the ring finger from moving when the middle is folded.

One thing I can comment on: My Ring finger hurt like hell while attempting to lift it… Me thinks I severed a tendon, he he he! Thanks for sharing the tricks!
